    Aston Villa v Arsenal
    20 Sept 2014
    Villa Park
    15.00 GMT, 10:00 EST (NBCSN)

It's Aston Villa v Arsenal, bitches. Let's get this season on track with a win at Villa Park. Hope to see some major rotation from the dismal XI that faced Dortmund at midweek -- and equally hope to see Rosicky make his first appearance of the season.

I'll say 2-1 to the Arsenal.

Aston Villa away, in the form they are in, is going to be a tough team to beat. I'd happily take a draw and no further injuries.

NOTHING LESS THAN ALL THREE POINTS!!!

For those who might not checked NBC Sports EPL MatchFinder page, yes, the match WILL be on NBCSN at 10:00 am EDT/7:00 am PDT so no need for me to sit this one out, I thought at first glance on this thread that is was on PL Extra Time, something we have once again been denied access to by "Cheap Charlie" Ergan and crew at DISH.

    COYF'n'G!!! KILL!!!

Thanks for the catch. When I looked for a listing it said it was on Extra, I'm glad it will be on the main channel!

He shouldn't. I don't think he's completely fit. This is what we should play:

    Shambolic back five
    Arteta - Rosicky
    Ox - Cazorla - Podolski
    Welbeck

We could just pretend it's 2006 and play Flamini at fullback.

He's get a yellow in the first 15 minutes for hacking down Agbonlahor or Weimann and then be terrible the rest of the way. haha

Good grief we need three points. After this is is League Cup, scum, must win CL game, away to blue scum. Things could go pear shaped quick if not careful.

So is jack out? Who else? I'd rotate heavily to send a message to the squad and to freshen up legs. Maybe something like...

    -------Danny------
    Santi---rosicky---ox
    ----flam------arteta-----
    Gibbo-kos-per-chambers

That front 4 should be able to get 1-2 goals at villa. The extra holder should help stabilize our foundering defense and hold villa to 0-1 goals. Bring on Rambo, Alexis and Poldi for 20 mins if needed.

We're only, what?, 8 games into the season and I'm already in the "I hope this game goes better than I anticipate" phase.

    2-2.

It'll be like January in September.

eta - I desperately want us to win this game. I think we can string together some good results if we can find the place where everything clicks.

Disagree with that top line in one respect. Sczcesny has single-handedly earned us a few points so far this year.

Isn't this basically the same squad and lineup that got pounded at Dortmund? We need some fresh legs in he midfield.

By the definition of "main channel" you gave out, some people might probably think I was saying "big NBC" (over the air NBC), but I meant that the match will definitely be LIVE on NBCSN at 10:00am EDT/7:00am PDT and not NBC "over-the-air".

I think Chambers has croup, so he'll be out.

I would put Sanchez on the left. Poldi is too much a pasenger lately.

Villa has begun well. The sad bit is I think we may struggle with Agbonlahor now that he's playing more central.
