He's 32, I'd rather Muriqui who not only scores but also pierces defenses. Hope a Jleague team is phoning right now.

I kind of doubt they can offer the wage he wants...
and being 32 doesn't really mean anything honestly unless you're a foward who plays only on the runs... Toni scored 20 in Serie A last season and he's 37 lol

btw, Fiorentina is on the verge to sign Newcastle Jet's Joshua Brillante from A-League

Oh yeah, Brillante with the great beard - played in the EAFC last year right? Well he's EU, for Serie A that makes a big difference. Apparently Roma is scrambling to track down DeAndre Yedlin's biological mom to get his Latvian passport issued.

Yeah, he was. Decent player, but pretty much going to be loaned out all the time at Fiorentina.

As you said Toni has always been a tank so his age doesn't matter. Anyways Muriqui has signed with Al Sadd.

Fiorentina has announced several interesting things:

    - Montella liked Brillante, so it's not that sure that he'll go on loan actually;

    - a partnership with India's Pune FC was announced. This isn't only the classic let's-expand-our-brand in Asia kind of partnership though. Pune FC is now managed by an italian coach named Franco Colomba who will report to them (he is also bringing a couple of serie a players there), and he's been asked to take a look at prospects.
Of course, indian football is what it is at the moment but it's definitely a step in the good direction =)

last, Mencucci, which is Fiorentina's CEO, has specifically mentioned what leagues they are currently interested in, and those are: MLS, Switzerland and Japan.

Nope. It's more like a Sabadell-Tokyo type of partnership than what teams like United or Inter or whatever usually do.

Considering India and the I-League is nowhere like Japan, I'd guess it would be more towards Primavera players in regards to anyone playing for Fiorentina but yes, the idea is to check if there are some even ready to have a trial for Serie A as stated by the club.

The point is that we are not talking about "Fiorentina having a tour in India to sell some shirts" which is why I said it's not only a classic promotional thing. They have a coach, staff, even brought some players from Serie A.
The club (Pune) is now effectively fully managed by Fiorentina and is currently making a draft of indian players.

Having a satellite team in India must be pretty cheap don't you think ? It might not nbe the same business plan as usual but the chances an Indian are going to make it are lower than those of a an assumed shirt seller. But it's a good afflux of resources in India, sure.

Definitely, I sincerely hope he gets dropped by Queiroz before Asian Cup. We don't need
players who go for money during the peak of their career. I hope Jahanbakhsh starts from now on. At least he plays in a reputable league.

From playing in Bundesliga and Premier League , to Qatari Stars League. FML

It's hard to be dropped. It's still one of the best Iranian players. Even Misimovic who played in China was called for the WC.

Thats true, but he is 32 already and past his prime so its understandable to join a random team to make money. Dejagah is only 28, something does not seem right at all IMO. Looks like Al-Arabi offered him 6 million salary a year. Apart from securing his family in terms of finance, not a beneficial move for his career.

A lot of money. Also the coach of Al Arabi, Dan Petrescu it's a young coach. He had offers from Premier League (small clubs) but he wanted the money...His wage is 3 mil per year...
