I just do not understand what Zhu is trying to do:

    http://sports.sina.com.cn/n/2006-02-23/21102065621.shtml

Gao Lin is out while Han Peng and Shi Jun are in. You've got to be kidding me.

    maybe we should

he's got good leaping abilities and he can stay in the air pretty long. It's good for corner kicks when we are trying to connect the header.

With the creative Tao Wei and Dong around, the opportunistic Shao may very well score a goal or two.

  12. Iraq will be missing 3 starters (Emad Mohammed, Nashat Akram, and Haider Abdul Razzaq)...because they were dropped out of the team! :(

Iraq is going downhilll...the country is nearing Civil War now, and the team, coach, IFA are in ruins. :(

Well good luck to Iraq...it will be our "HOME" game, in UAE!

According to FootballAsia, the kickoff is 4:00pm Beijing Time. That's 3:00am New York Time.

I hope it never gets to Civil War, that's so disheartening, it's the last thing Iraq needs. I hope both sides show restraint, Shias need to look at the big picture and show forgiveness. This is madness.

I wonder which side Iran will side with, in the unfortunate case of a civil war?

Point well taken, but I think it could get a bit more complicated than that.

Dong is getting a lot of good press these couple of days. We'll see if he can handle it.

Shao Jiayi doesn't seem to handle good press well.
