Hey guys! Good luck in the Asian Cup.

So what do you think are China's chances to succeed in the group stages and overall tournament? Are you confident of your team?

    Any predictions against Kuwait? :p

China's chances are as good as Kuwait's. Both teams suck. If I have to pick, I'd say Kuwait has a slight edge because its players are more adapt to the weather in Doha than our players are.

At the end of the day, it's not that great of a tournament. Korea, Japan, and Australia are heavy favorites, but if and only if they care about this tournament enough to invite the likes of Park Ji Sung and Tim Cahill back. I think they have but double check the squad to make sure.

I know that Dunhill was in charge of outfitting the squad up until 2008 or so, I highly doubt those hideous numbers are made by them, no idea who is suiting them now...

All the stars are going to play in the AC, the only reason this tournament won't be "that great" is the fcuking decision to play it in godforsaken Qatar instead of a sensible location, thus forcing the tournament to be moved to January where teams only have players in camp for a week or less, downright stupid and why the talk of moving the World Cup to January to help Qatar is nonsensical.

A bunch of match fixing goons if you ask me. Brothers, please don't get too excited, these goons will just end up disappointing you. Expect them to fail, and maybe they'll surprise you ;-).

    scorers:
    hao junmin (china) - 4'
    some iraqi (iraq) - 18'
    another iraqi (iraq) - 45'
    zhao peng (china) - 48'
    deng zhuoxiang (china) - 76'

apparently one of the iraqi received a red card for violent play.

    hao junmin assisted zhao peng.
    yu hai assisted deng zhuoxiang.

there is not alot of information of how hao played, other than he started, scored a goal, and set up zhao peng.

the match was played closed door and i am having hard time finding video highlight of the game.

if hao hasn't played for shitty schalke for a while and he suddenly started a game out of the blue, that means his physique isn't as bad as anticipated. :)

adding that he is playing on a ground that is hot as hell :D

I hope you're wrong, for the sake of the tournament being exciting. I also have this gut instinct it's going to be too predictable but I hope countries like Uzbekistan, China, Qatar, North Korea and maybe even Kuwait put some outside hope of breaking the typical 'big four' stereotype.
