IN 2010, Asian teams did pretty well. They have shown the world that they are competitive enough to play well against European teams, South American teams, African teams, and others.
Africa was rather disappointing while Asia played well.
I believe Asia needs 5 slots rather than 4.5.

    What do you all think?

    Nat'l Team:

No. Japan and South korea are always making to the world cup from Asia.
Japan made it 4 consecutive times. While South korea 7 consecutive times.

IMO you need to compare the 5th team from asia vs 6th team in Africa. While the top three in ASIA imo IS Stronger then top three in africa ( japan, south korea, australia > any three african teams).. the rest of positions africa is much much better.

The 5th team in asia who didnt qualify is worse then north korea.. north korea lost 7 - 0 , 3 - 0 .. finished with 0 points..
    I think Egypt > Bahrain..

Seriously, Saudi Arabia and Iran are great teams. But they failed to qualify.
If there were extra spots they might have good chance to show nice football in WC.

Asia needs more berths for sure while Africa should get their spots decreased.
