15M is a good bit of business for a player who will improve our depth, improve our starting xi and impact games for us in the attacking third.

I'm interested to see what implications his arrival will mean for our rotation and whether we'll see more of Nani on the right. This signing might be the best move for Nani since Ronaldo's departure.

    Want to see
    ----Valencia--------Nani-----------Young
    -------------------Rooney----------------
He may not have been my first choice, but he is a good player, where is the price reported?

I'm eager to see what he could do for us. Hopefully we'll get some decent free kicks and corners now as well.

I'd be more interested in seeing this:

    -----------------Cheech
    Young----------Rooney----------Nani

    or

    ------------------Welbeck
    Young------------Rooney------------Nani

the technique and swag of this group would be the closest we've been since Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez days.

i think he'll be a great addition to the squad. gives us another attacking option as well as a great deliverer of crosses, free kicks and corners.

now we bring in that creative CM, promote Cleverley and Welbeck and we're good to go.

I want to see Nani SS, he could easily draw DM, CBs and make them look like a fool, yeah that is good, interchangeable, would like a CM who could step up and one of Rooney/Valencia take that position for him, Banega/Nasri.

I would like to see us giving the #7 shirt. 7 just looks wrong on back up striker.

If anybody deserves 7 its Luis Nani, but we got Owen for another season to wear that.

    Good Signing is Good!!

Would like to see him and Nani at opposite flanks. Would improve our set piece delivery too.

I'm very happy. We have been crying out for another direct, attacking threat in the final third since Ronaldo departed.

Agree, we could put 2 infront of his 7 and give him Silvestre old number.

Apparently only Cesc has more league assists than him in the last 5 years?

I hope he's good at FKs, cause we are utter shite at them these days. Same with corners.

edit: I'm an Owen fan, but the "7" is a farce. You look at the list behind that name the last few years - Cantona, Becks, Ronaldo....Owen?? Ugh. Nani deserves it if he wants it.

It is a number, not that big of a deal. I'm happy for Nani to continue with 17 as he's had it for so long. I would love to see 7 go to someone who comes up from the youth team.

Morrison with 7 after Owen leaves would not displease me at all.

Yeah, I like the idea of players sticking to their numbers rather than changing it. Ole managed to make 20 work for him even though it's not exactly a traditional number.

Here is my question - can we make this work, having Valencia, Nani and Young on the field at the same time?
