Wow,It's been a long time since my last post...Anyway... With the World Cup draw a few hours away,as anyone noticed how much we got almost the same qualified teams that we got 4 years ago?24 out of the 32 teams of 2010 are back in Brazil meaning that depending on the seedings and all,we could get very similar groups to the groups that we got from 2010.Only Italy's group from 2010 is the only one from the last edition where the other 3 teams in the group have failed to qualify this time around,meaning that Italy is certain to obtain a different group from last time around.Besides that if you look at the 7 remaining groups from 2010,2 of them(Argentina's and Spain's) have all 4 teams returning to the Finals,while the other 5 have only one team that didn't make it this year. Compared to the 2006 World Cup and teams that didn't make it to South Africa 4 years later where there were more than 12 teams who didn't return...Same with the 2002 World Cup compared to the 2006 World Cup 12 teams didn't return in Germany... The whole point of this post ison't be surprised if we get similar looking groups to what we got,it is very possible,it happened in the past and it is likely to happen again this time around with so many teams returning from the last edition...with that said I still can't wait for the draw....
