That was just a straight swap for a tired guy still not 100% fit. Previously to that he subbed on Saka for Torreira, which presumably was more to your liking?
All of the substitutions today were abysmal and demonstrate a complete lack of coherency and planning.
Ozil makes us look so much better shit performance again we really won’t finish top 6 if we don’t sack emery. He’s clueless and his subs are wack
Honestly I get that Wolves are a solidly mid-table side now, but it speaks VOLUMES that when so-called lower competition come to our ground and score a late equalizer, they are no longer time-wasting afterwards. Everyone can see we are there for the taking. Thought Wolves deserved that one, they were much more fluent in attack than we were. Based on everything Emery's ever said about how he wants his teams to perform, you would've thought he was managing the orange side today
#MourinhoIn is a better troll now That's breathtaking. We are playing worse than the scorelines suggest
Pathetic, no expectations and i'm still disappointed. After the goal arsenal just did a whole lot of nothing. Regardless of a guy being tired, being a manager of a team with "alleged" big aspirations, swapping left backs with 5 minutes left instead of bringing on your record transfer is insane. Has Emery given up on Pepe? Bringing in Martinelli and Saka over him.
It's gotten bad enough that I'd be ok with Mourinho for 18 months. No longer than that but at least he's a competent professional.
On track for another season of Europa league. Say goodbye to Auba and Laca. Thanks Emery and the board. Either sack him now or sack him later when top 4 is out of reach.
Squawka on the implications of today's game for Emery: https://www.squawka.com/en/features/arsenal-1-1-wolves-match-analysis-ozil-emery-aubameyang Re Ozil, the attack did flow through him today, he completed more passes 85 of 95 than anyone else attempted. In addition on several occasions, when Arsenal were being pressed, he dropped deep to help bring the ball out of the defense.
Emery: "It's a bad result, but tactically it worked how we wanted."— Miguel Delaney (@MiguelDelaney) November 2, 2019
As others have said, when you look at the fixtures over the Christmas period, sacking Emery at Christmas would be unreasonable because it wouldn't give the new manager any runway to bed in new ideas before a lot of tough fixtures. Emery needs to be sacked this weekend for us to have enough time to contend for top four. We're past the point of blaming Emery now too; he's clearly not fit for the job. The longer Raul and Edu dither, the more questions should be asked of their futures, and the more blame they should receive for our current predicament.
I’ve never been comfortable with Sanllehi. He’s the kind of guy whose reputation is built on where he’s been rather than what he’s accomplished.
After Leicester is the time to do it. If he is still here when we get back from the international break, then he might as well finish the season because our top 4 hopes will be over.
