I imagine the conversation to go something like this (even better if you kind of fake an alsatian accent): Very good Eddie. Now you see I have real belief in you. Next time, don't worry about making runs. See Giroud. Kind of stay in front of the defenders and try to play 1-2 into tight spaces. And no heading on corners. That is not the Arsenal way. Don't worry about defending either, that is a Coq-job. And forget that we are playing 11v11. Pretend it is 5v5 with no-offises.
Good point, especially about that Giroud mugging in the box. Of the things you mentioned, that might be the one that truly fits the potential-game-changer cateogory?
League Cup Quarterfinal Draw: Arsenal - West Ham Chelsea - Bournemouth Leicester - Manchester City Bristol City - Manchester United Matches are the week of December 18.
Looks like we have a good path to the Semis! Edit: having just listened to the BBC radio report about West ham's stupendous 2nd half come back against spurs last night, maybe I should revise that optimism?
true "game changer", yeah, that is the main one. but what it would have done is (likely) give us a 1-0 lead early in the game which can change the face of the game. while it's true that none of walcott's first 3 offsides (those were the ones i noticed being, in my opinion, wrong) really came off, they could have been game changers as well - and would have been called back wrongly.
Good but I have to wonder...rigged much? I can see sponsors demanding more for their buck and hence. LOL.
