Man, how many horrible passes from Arsenal? It’d be a disgrace not to beat this team. They’ve been horrible in midfield for almost the whole game!

You know, on the surface a draw sucks because of how much we bossed the game but after how bad our defense/goalie went to sleep, I'll take it.

Game over 3-3, dropped points in my opinion. Every time we squander chances, it comes back to bite us!!!!!

Two points dropped due to 4:45 of madness. Migs' shot stopping ability suddenly deserted him on Xhaka's shot.

    Dammit.

Well could have won this, so it feels like a loss. This years team still doesn’t believe they can win, which is why we seem to give up goals in bunches. Somehow the guys need to accept the occasional goal against, and respond rather than wilt.

Nothing unusual about this result, it's become the expected. Very disappointing

Had an inkling we'd regret those first half misses but hey ho. Played well except for that shocking 8 minute spell when heads just went-- it just seems that mentally, a number of players cannot handle a [temporary] set-back.

    Still 2 points dropped.

I’d love if Milner turns and says, we should have kept up our pressure on Wilshire here and taken advantage of him a bit more,

Our defense as soon as we give up the first goal collapses

First one is down to inexperience the second one is all on Mignolet. We will never win the league with Mignolet in goal. Gomez will learn from this and be more atent the next time

If you concede goals in quick succession, then you have to immediately disrupt play - feign an injury, manufacture a confrontation and so on. That's very easy to execute. We don't need to do it at the start of every second-half when we're in the lead, as Mourinho's Chelsea Mk1 did. But we really should do it when the benefit is obvious, as it was tonight.

That is a maddening result and sums up the first half of our season. For the first half we were embarrassing them. We completely dominated and should have been 3-0 up. It was the Everton game all over again with the wasted chances.

We started the 2nd half in the same manner and finally got the 2nd goal. Then Gomez made a mistake. You can't get on him because its the first thing he has done wrong in weeks. Instead of brushing it off and getting back to dominating them, we completely implode. The 2nd goal was the biggest moment and Mingolet is fully to blame. We have some mentally weak players and that is why we don't win games against teams were are clearly better then. The midfield went completely missing for a long period of the 2nd half. It would have been nice to Emre Can make a tackle and get a hold of the ball, but instead the game was completley passing him by.

We need players with more composure in midfield, at the back, and in goal. I know that our captain limped off, but I don't think he is the answer either.

Once again, a team that we are miles better then goes home feeling good about themselves. Klopp had the tactics right and Wegner once again had no answer for us. Its up to the players to stop wasting golden chances and not implode the second one thing goes wrong. Three goals in five minutes is absolutely ridiculous. Who is the leader of this team?

I rather have our problems then Arsenal's. They are not good enough to win anything. We are a team that is showing signs of brilliance, but constantly coming up short.

Gomez showed his inexperience with the casual look back and thinking he had time. He will learn.

Goal 2 - migs what a disaster. Went back to bad migs after that. Including the crazy end of the game save.

Goal.3 - I have no clue what happened.

Midfield absolutely nowhere to be seen on the 3rd goal. To me that's much more worrying than individual mistakes.

That said, decent 1st half of the season; if in August I was offered top 4 and winnable upcoming CL knockout tie at xmas, I would have taken it.

Thing is, after conceding that first goal, we ought to have hunkered down a tad. But instead we went on to concede another two. Midfielder just waved Arsenal through for the third.

Gomez will go on to be a top defender, maybe, but Mignolet will never be a top goalkeeper. Not sure about Can, to be honest.
