We have invested a lot in recent years. The problem is we spent poorly, and then didn't fire Emery in the summer when it was clear things weren't working out.
I don't think we have invested much if you consider how little was invested in the last 4-5 years of Wenger comparative to other teams.

Martinelli on for Laca. Immediately he gets clattered. Yikes. I'm a little hopeful for a moment of teenage brilliance. Laca wasn't super effective, even if he can claim our only goal.
