Start Eddie N. Welbz will get injured just thinking about the cold.

4G pitch in the cold weather could be a little tricky for us. Not to mention that the boss, in his infinite wisdom, chose to not practice on a similar pitch?!

Without Kos, Ramsey, Wilshere, Auba, Laca... time for one of our benchies to step up in a big way!

    Here's a post I made 2 months ago. If you haven't seen this, it's worth a watch!

OK we drew Ostersunds in R32 and supposedly that's a guaranteed win. Until you look into what they're really like, and you start to have some doubts?...

    Heeeeeeere's Johnny!!

Looks like a 4-4-3 ;) If only we could do that.

How can the Swedish league even pretend to be taken seriously if they won't adhere to the European football calendar?

So far it looks like we've adapted to 4G well. Maybe it suits our ball-on-the-floor precision. I just thought we might struggle with tthe pace and bounce, but so far that doesn't look to be much of an issue. Maybe a testament to 4G.

I get that this is Ostersund's first competitive match in a while but holy shit how did they progress? They're awful.

Guys, Alexi Lalas isn't sounding like an idiot.

2018 is when the matrix will need a reboot.

This match is poised for that 3rd goal. It better be for us, or else we're gonna make a nervy mess of this one.

Edit: Ask and ye shall receive. Ozil! 3-0. :D

    I take that back.

Lalas makes me have Cartman's reaction to gingers.

Dude loves to hear himself talk. Like, shut up and let the game happen without this soliloquy about the state of Arsenal.

I haven't been listening or following that closely but Lalas & Wynalda make me cringe. (Trying not to think of what WC'18 is going to be like)

Stupid PK by Hector, bailed out by Ospina and a weak kick.

Even so, it was nice to have a very comfortable match for a change. Even if it's against a subpar team.

So it's now clear that our R32 draw was indeed a gift. Let's take advantage of that, our weekend off, and get some players back from injuries or niggles. Play more youth for the return leg, and regroup for the League Cup Final and our continued UEL campaign.

    Onwared! With da Prince. :)

Between the pitch and the cold weather it reminded me of the Hocky Game in Mystery Alaska. All they needed was Little Richard singing the Swedish National Anthem.
