@nicephoras tokd you your defenders were shit. Hazard does not want to be a false 9 either, crossing to midgets is not a good look

Anyway, I told yall about the diamond. It allows 3 offensive central players and is perfect for Ramsey and ozil

Torreira played as a ball winner higher up and xhaka as the deep player with guen also providing a b2b threat

Imo if bellerin is out for a while we need another fullback with pace as he’s looked really good

    Diamonds are forever

Definitely need a RB, stat. If we can only bring in a loan - mayhaps Kenny from Everton or Soares from Soton?

Caught the 2nd half. Glad the result turned in our favor, but if y'all expect me to get dog bites for every big match we're gonna have to talk!

I would assume so, unless Jenkinson is mysteriously above AMN in the pecking order now.

Jenks better be above Licht, though.

AFAIK we owe this result to you. So if you wanna tempt fate next week by not getting bitten, I guess that's up to you.

Maybe to make it easier on ya we could say this only applies to upcoming matches in the EPL against other teams within 2 places above/below us?

Thoroughly pleased with today’s match. Overall Highlights from my view:
    • One of the best “team” wins of the season, and probably from the last several years.
    • There were no “weak” players from this match. Everyone put in a solid-to-great performance
    • Emery got the tactics right.
    • We kept a clean sheet against a top 6 side. While Chelsea were clearly inept on several chances, the team played as a collective defensive unit, and the shutout directly reflects that.

Do your keyboards ever auto correct "2-0 Arsenal" to "4-1 Chelsea"? Weird

Was a great win. Sad to see bellarin go down. I saw something that it might be a tendon and will be out 9 months :(

I’ll enjoy this for now though. Boo boys be gone. Was hoping to see Mesut come on, but the game state didn’t warrant it and the injury killed his cameo.

Aside from a few wobbly lines, the back four was decent. Kos/sok has potential if they gmcan get a few games going together. Kos cleated a lot of their crosses, was tidy in passing and got a goal. Not a bad showing after some rusty performances.

Laca was a beast actually, his strength and body work is top class. He scored and put one nearly on a plate for Auba who should have done better.

Torriera and guen were good. Ramsey played a good tactical game and did what emery asked so I’ll give him a good performance too. But I thought he was not great going forward to be honest. Auba worked his pants off but was a little off going forward as well. Had those two been sharper we’d have blasted them by 5 goals or more in the first half.

Just watched the game after work. Wow, what an open game. Seemed like Arsenal could have scored a dozen in the first half. Chelsea could have scored 4 or 5. I am so happy for the win because my friend is a Chelsea fan.

I am just so happy to beat Chelsea. How the hell does Alonso get away with so many fouls against the Arsenal? Boggles my mind.

So who will replace Hector? Options seem to be Lichtsteiner, Maitland-Niles, or the Corporal. I think Lichtsteiner is way out of his depth. I don't know which of the other 2 would be best.

Great result. They must not have watched any film from previous Arsenal matches. All it takes it 2 passes and then it's a goal against Arsenal.

    Devastating injury to bellerin
We look toothless on wing without him

Mustafi, kol, hector, xhaka all look better under emery

Ps sarri is getting found out

No rotation, relying on jorginho (Ramsey killed him) refusing to play hazard as a lw

I think we have to play jenko. His contract is up and he will be playing his heart out. He’s also looked better when he has played lately. Sokratis and torriera beside him as opposed to mustafi should help.

In case anyone hasn’t seen this:

Frustrating, but he is a volume striker. Gets into great positions and concerts at a very average rate.

Yeah he’s like cavani and Higuain

So good they get lots of chances but miss sitters

I guess they are rythem strikers, in their stride score at will but not consistent

It is crazy that we are talking about a player near the top of goals scored since he arrived as being a poor/average finisher. As a fan though, he sometimes makes me scream at the TV.

He has great movement though and pace

He put in 2 brilliant sliding tackles yesterday too, one in the box vs hazard

Every striker misses 'sitters'. Cavani is grossly underrated thanks to the narrative that sees all his misses highlighted, and Higuain is one of the few people on the planet who overperforms xG consistently. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I’m
Not saying any are not amazing strikers, they all have scored loads of goals but they are far from clinical

Auba we see missing chances regularly, especially by line passes

Cavani has missed numerous 1 on 1s over the years in the cl especially and Higuain at the World Cup when Argentina got to the final missed a lot
Mobutu they are all so good they get loads of chances

Gonzalo shits bed in every major game it seems
I would like to see xG comparison between him and mandzukic for example
