Re: Arsenal to tour Africa in 2012 i can't afford it u are rich and can seemingly have holidays whenever u want to go and see them, hard times
Re: Arsenal to tour Africa in 2012 Looks like we are going to Asia as well. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/feb/06/arsenal-tour-seoul-beijing-hong-kong
Re: Arsenal to tour Africa in 2012 really... where out of curiosity? and I believe Arsenal has made Korea a leg of its Asia tour. And there are rumblings right now from Park that he may want out at the end of the season. Wenger is supposedly meeting with Park this week over this. I don't have a reliable link/source unfortunately. Nothing in English anyways.
Re: Arsenal to tour Africa in 2012 Off-topic : but if Park didn't want out, I'd seriously question his motives as a professional. This, obviously, is not what he signed up for.
Re: Arsenal to tour Africa in 2012 my girl studies 3rd world development and loves africa, been to gambia she is mixed race herself but jamaican/irish
The trip to Nigeria is off. http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/arsenal-postpone-pre-season-game-in-nigeria
Now that Nigeria has fallen through are any other African countries up for a trip? No one has mentioned any others. I think that Arsenal taking a tour around there wold be good for the local soccer teams. The EPL on TV has a bigger draw for many Africans than most live African soccer matches. Getting the local team to play Arsenal could increase interest in the domestic league.
Did anyone watch ESPN UK? I wanted to murder the commentators. The color commentator in particular was the worst I've EVER heard.
Yeah they aren't exactly the best. I thought it was funny how they were making it sound like it was a World Club Championship match instead of a preseason friendly. They also trying to say what is realistic for Arsenal next season. Players are trying to get match fitness so even if Arsenal had lost, I wouldn't have worried since it was a mix squad with how many first team players missing? The one intelligent thing they did say was the pitch was horrible.
whens the last time a commentator or pundit said something reasonable about arsenal or wenger? especially in the uk.....u have that stupid twat tommy smyth all over espn and the clowns on itv who are amateur at best.....the only really good analysts/pundits/commentators to me are dixon, marcotti, keown, neville, a few of the bbc commentators and i really liked robbie earle before he shifted tickets to games to get model poon lol
Gary Neville's been good...really good Texan do you know the name of the Irish twat who color commentated the match today?
