Arizona State has been on fire of late. After a disappointing weekend in Colorado Springs, CO where ASU went 0-1-1, ASU has turned into a top caliber team. Since that weekend in Colorado Springs ASU has gone 5-0-0. They have out scored the opponents by combined score of 9-0. Today against Auburn after posting a 1-0 victory they tied a school record by recording their fifth consecutive shutout. Goal Keeper Kelly Fitzgerald has a 0.53 goals against average now, and Elizabeth Bogus tied a school record with her fourth game winning goal on the year. Next week ASU host Northern Arizona for their last non-conference game. ASU should move into the top 25 this week after a great road trip.

    Good results

Evidently they were alittle off on Friday, but still managed to put away Georgia 2 zip...Georgia beat Duke 1-0 today right after the ASU/Auburn game. I was able to listen to the ASU game on Auburn Internet radio this morning...pretty physical...defense bent but didn't break...still with three in the back...Auburn had three forwards running at them. Bogus continues to be in the zone or something all three goals this weekend. Peel and Reynolds ?? Fitzgerald didn't have to make any big saves today and Friday I guess she had to make one big time save...so not much is getting through the Devils back line. Two games in two weeks coming up, then Southern Cal and UCLA on Oct 18/20...looking forward to that...
