Re: Argentina players who play in the U.S.A

Houston Dynamo waived Franco Caraccio but there reports that Red Bull New York may be interested in picking him up to play with them.

Also, FC Dallas is expected to meet with River Plate next week to scout a couple of players to join FCD, having already made room for two more international players.

Schelotto set up 3 goals and hit a shot off the crossbar, the match MVP was awarded to him. Columbus one the first cup in MLS history

I guess this a good and bad thing for the gallinas. Bad that a player they hate won yet another title outshining the ex-gallina Angel. And good since Angel will probably go back to River.

But LOL, I remember when the signing was first announced and the River fans started trolling the Columbus forums talking shit about Guille.

But see it can be good for River as they had an OB (old boy) winner too:

I want to say Guille got a foul call on this play. The "twin" made them look foolish out there at times. His third assist was truly top notch.

    Guille fue...

I guess if the gallinas want to celebrate that. Lord knows they need some happiness right now :p. But he barely played for them I think.

    I can't identify it. Doesn't ring a bell.

How many Argentinos do they have at the Islanders? I remember hearing that Guille's twin brother Gustavo played for the Islanders a couple of years ago.

Well currently none there hasn't been a Argentine in the squad since Gustavo. The last two coaches have preferred more regional talent.

Lucas Pusineri, it was said he was heading to an undisclosed MLS side, however he claims that he isn't aware of anything and that he believes it's another unfound rumour like when he was linked with UAE.

Also background rumours of Independiente suggest that Matías Di Gregorio is linked with Toronto.

Interesting, perhaps, Independiente and some news I hear with a Primera club are true that players would eventually get exchanged.

Any info on him and how he could add to Toronto? No one better than you to ask.

    Re: Argentinos in USA

Matiás Di Gregorio is a left wing back, though he has played few official matches, a box-to-box player he has looked promising and even scored goal(has scored others in friendlies), for some reason he isn't much in consideration to have a chance as a starter, i think it'd be a big mistake to let him go.
