You also describe Aguero's attitude these days, especially in NT. He seems to be more interested on posting photos of his new haircut, promotional stuff, training session and backstage celebration. He's simply hiding behind Messi's once the match started.

He should takes note from Angelito and Mascherano or at least his club teammate Zabaleta, no need to show off at social media every day, show your determination on the field. Players like Demichellis and Zabaleta works really hard to be included on the team while a talented player like Kun just gave it up.

Aguero is a choker and we don't need him anymore, Messi, Higuain, Tevez hopefully is back, Zarate, plus the youngsters Icardi, Iturbe, Ferreyra and Correa gives us a lot of depth.

Not exactly in previous tournaments though, he helped us to win U20 twtice and also Olympic. He also scored 3 goals at group stage in 2011 Copa which save Argentina's face at home soil, but was replaced early by Tevez in quarterfinal. Pipita and Kun still has a chance to fix their reputation in NT in next year tournament. They're still only 26 while Tevez would be 34 by 2018.

I hope Garay, Masche and Romero can keep performing at high level for the next few years. Especially for 2015 Copa since WC s still a long shot.

Aguero was injured since March or so. He was totally out of form and it's unfair to judge him according on this World Cup. He's still the only forward alongside with Messi, who can score decisive goals in important matches. He's pure talent and champion

Kun was injured 4 times last season , this year he was subbed out twice after playing few minutes. Not a good decision by him It was clear his hamstering hasnt been healed. When he was injured again against Nigeria, he didnt pick up a knock, it was his hamstering again which mean he will not be able to accelerate. Bad decision by Sabella to started him so early in the final.

Not for Argentina, it's time to look at other players. Aguero very possibly cost us the WC, get rid of him.

Despite strings of injuries Kun still scored 28 goals last season while Pipita scored 24. They both scored 15 goals combined in qualifier, Kun also scored twice against Serbia 2 months prior to the tournament. They deserve starting position in this year WC. Everybody thought our front four are going to take the world by storm during the tournament but the sad truth is, only Messi and Di Maria played well and our defence took over the team at knockout stage. Aguero never regained his full fitness while Pipita always fail to deliver in big games. At least he had an assist in the first game and a goal that ended our QF curse. Aguero was totally a waste of space. His only tiny fraction of contribution was scoring his penalty in semifinal.

The thing is, is that both Aguero and Higuain need to lose a lot of weight. They are fat, by soccer's standards.

I am hoping that Pastore (consistency being the key for him), Lamela, and Botta all breakthrough this year ---- so we don't only rely on Messi and Di Maria for creativity.

We just need a stronger midfield, and have Messi play CF.

The talent is there to be a top world class player. However the mentality unfortunately seems to have wandered off into the clouds. Which as you say bsas is a real shame. You never know perhaps someone can lick him into shape for 2018 as he still has time on his side.

Meanwhile another funny and excellent tribute to Masche from the greatest fans in the world:

Pastore at his best form is a great player. Everyone would love to have his talent but like Balotelli sometimes he's trying to look too casual and doing unnecessary fancy stuff.

Lamela was just unlucky with his injury last season and with a coach that never really like him in the first place. This season will be different as he already hit 3 goals in pre season games and will take his game to the next level.

Iturbe is a very young talent that possess the set of skill that could surpass Aguero if not Messi. I'm glad he move to Roma where he could get playing time and learning from experience world cup winner like Totti. Lamela improved alot by playing with Totti, in fact he assisted most of his goals.

You can say the same about Pipita, already scored once pre season started.
Too bad they both looks like Indonesian league material during the WC campaign , Oh well...

Because of their still young age and form they usually shows at their club, Kun and Pipita most likely still going to start in NT for time being. However, I'd relegate them to the bench instantly if they fail in next year tournament. I still cant believe they're the same folks that played in the WC, especially Aguero.

Nowhere really, there is a conversation about it in the Argentina Club forums. But if you want to watch games, it's Fútbol para Todos. It's basically YouTube, it's LIVE, and good quality. You can go back and watch the games if you miss it.

2015 CA, we will be in group B. Our first two games will be in La Serena and the last will be in Viña del Mar. Chile will be in Group A and Brasil Group C. The draw will be in a couple months.

Our folks seems to do just fine after losing that ultimate final. Messi has bagged 2 goals + 4 assists in 2 games while Pipita and Kun agonizingly saved their shittiest performance for that special month and then back into scoresheet in their first game of this season:thumbsdown:

You make it seem like all these guys plotted this and said to each other "you know what would be really fun, lets score just 2 goals in the entire knockout stage of the world cup then start scoring for fun with our clubs just to piss people off"

the bottom line is a world cup has much more pressure than average club games, and you realize that you're talking about friendlies? The "season" for pipita hasn't started yet scoring in a friendly against PSG is meaningless and as for Messi scoring against Leon, well who gives a shit? Yea, playing Leon in the Gamper Trophy is just as much pressure as playing a world cup final against germany in Maracana.

Get over it man, all these guys will score 20+ goals and probably more because they're top footballers...

Well looks like Zuculini will not be staying in England, I thought he would be loaned to Sunderland but he will be going to Spain for Valencia. Pablo Piatti, Otamendi, De Paul, Orban and now Bruno.

Higuain equalized for Napoli but also missed 2 grade A chances to win the game. That being said, his goal was a great one and he looked very dangerous; much different than the dismal one we saw at the WC.
