Hmmm I could have sworn that was Soldano for some reason. My fault.

Regarding the game, Martinez Quarta was very solid once again. Love the attitude this kid has developed over the years to take on big games like these

Not a problem, as long as you don’t bring up Mati Suarez should be called up because he works hard, :D.

What do you think of Nacho Fernandez and the NT? His form has been demanding a shot for quite a while.

I'm surprised Nacho hasn't had a look yet.

A lot of guys had bad games, but wow it was not Capaldo's night at ALL.

And c'mon how many VAR penales? It was the right call but jeez.

    Perhaps he wasn't Nacho ready...

He’s definitely hitting his stride and it’s good to see. I personally like to take on players players who are on form and honestly he’s been solid over time.

Will he be a starter? Probably not but Scaloni has given many players a look, which is something I will continue to praise. As I’ve said, the qualifiers start in a few shorts months then we have another CA, one we can actually win. And I think it is good to have players who see one another day in and day out at the club level, many of the River players have been standouts.

Let’s see what Lautaro can do today v FCB. I believe he is starting with Lukaku being out.

Barca are such a joke defending. Everyone fell asleep on that one. Nice finish by Lautaro though.

Their defense is an absolute joke. Anytime Inter are under attack it appears they’re holding onto dear life.

For the game itself, I think Lautaro played very well. He was determined and the Barca defense had fits with him all game. Could’ve had a second if it wasn’t for Barca’s GK having a great save on his header. I’d like to see more consistency from him. Inter face Juve on the weekend, and I’m assuming Conte might start Lautaro on the bench for that one. Lautaro played a full 90 minutes... So who knows.

Messi was a bit rusty, he’s still not at his best. Dribbles got away from him and his passes were slightly off BUT he got his mojo back for Barca second goal where he pranced by Inter defense and set up Suarez for their game winner.

A couple of Inter players asked for Messi’s jersey but he told them we’ll exchange in the hallways. But he exchanged his match worn with Lautaro on the pitch. I’m sure he probably has 2-3 every game where he gives to players.

Fingers crossed that nobody gets injured this weekend before our friendlies.

Messi looked a bit rusty but started to get better & better as game went on and that winning assist was typical him. Great to see Lautaro scored, regardless the defensive weaknesses, that was top finish from hard angle as he's losing his balance from the defender's push.

Watching the second match of the CL...And for the most part, Kannemann was doing a solid job but he left his positioning, which allowed Flamengo's Bruno Henrique to sneak past the last man to head the ball in.

I just realized that Kannemann was called to the friendlies, LOL. I am sure this didn't sit well with Grêmio... And Grêmio equalize...

I personally have really high hopes for Lautaro - I hope he starts to become a consistent 20 goal-a-season scorer in the league.

Obviously, a high volume scorer for us, too.

So Pochettino might be available to coach the national team sooner rather than later. Absolutely abysmal by Spurs lately. 3-0 loss to Brighton of all teams after a 7-2 drubbing at the hands of Bayern Munich.

I guess it was for the best that Dybala did not go to Tottenham then. I could see it now, the English papers and their fans calling him a flop, another "Argie" flopping. He's started much better than he has over the last year or so.

Poch's time is up. He probably should take a break and I am sure United might come calling after this season. He's not gonna coach us, the guy probably wants to work at United and then Madrid(Whichever comes first).

Icardi scored another today. Finding his rhythm, I hope.
Benedetto scored another for OM. That is 5 in 9 matches.

Dybala v Lautaro today. And what a start for Dybala! What a wonderful goal.

Now Lautaro gets one! Via a beautiful PK. Nice to see him have a pair of balls to take it.

What a great game so far.

Also, it looks like Dybala broke a finger or two...

More of Dybala and Lautaro in the friendlies, please. Both had very good showings. Dybala is linking well with Cristiano, something Allegri was unable to do.

Higuain came off the bench to seal the 2-1 win for Juventus

He also scored a few days ago in the Champions League. Looks like he’s recovering his form :whistling:

Great to see Lautaro and Dybala scores at the same game . Messi scored his first goal this season with his trademark freekick. I'm happy for Higuain aswell but ....I dont really care if Higuain recovering his form, I believe the guy holds the record for highest goal in a season for capocannoniere. He did it back in 2016 and even in that kind of form, he's still the same as ever....

Also, Messi almost scored with his solo run , beating 3-4 defenders but the goalie made a very good save.

I’m surprised our friendly v Germany is Wednesday, I thought it was later in the week. I’m going to guess that perhaps neither Dybala or Lautaro start given the fact that they both played today. I mean, it is a short flight away but I’m interested in seeing how Scaloni is gonna line-up.

They are 100% going to start. Scaloni won't play Germany with Alario and Nico González up front lmao.
