Oh please.. as if European Championship is that hard. For chrissakes, Greece was champion... don't talk about Eurocup being more difficult... that argument amounts to nil, sorry to say. England should have won a Eurocup by now... there's just no excuse for that.
btw- has england ever made it to a eurocup final??? I don't know, but I seriously doubt they could even pull that off - someone prove me wrong, please.

England, Scotland, and Wales, and NI all have to get their act together and come to the realization that they must become GBR eventually. Bunch of inbred islanders arguing over who's more english/scottish/welsh/etc...

And as far as not taking junior tournaments seriously - this may be part of your problem. If you don't train your junior players to compete at world tournament level, how can you ever expect them to be prepared and experienced at competing beyond qualifiers and friendlies??

poor excuses, if you ask me.

I didn't know Rio Ferdinand also slapped a ball into the goal. Or was that Rooney? Oh yeah Rooney is an alcoholic, my bad.:)

With half your team adopting the look of shagged out old pros, it's no wonder Rooney went and wanked all over them the other day.

 did you watch the game or not? Rooney played like that the whole game (or don't you remember him harrying your defence with his runs all night and being incredibly unlucky to hit the post after a couple of sublime touches....

He wasn't bad. Hit the post from a chip attempt and was generally rather useful. Mime will no doubt say othewise but then we've come to expect that.
Most importantly though in my opinion it showed he could actually play someone we have history with (or anyone at all for that matter) and not get riled into getting sent off.
I don't think I saw a single bit of petulance from him throughout the match.

I saw parts of it...I told you I don't excited about the friendlies. Im sure he did great. From what I saw it could have gone either way, the could have been 7-7.

the problem with english football is that the media and deluded individuals, build up the team so much that all of sudden that the delirium spreads and everyone thinks that england have an amazing world class team , and basically in every failing in every world cup everyone goes into mass depression, leaving people even more deluded going on in to the following world cup.

that has been happening every 4 years since 1966.

and its getting worse only that this team seems to have more potential than most of the others.

i wouldnt be suprised for one moment if england crash out like always because thats exactly whats been happening for the last 40 years.

    thats it right?
