Medel is one of my favorite players. No nonsense from him.

Sunjic has come a long way from when he was first coming on the bench. I think he's been improving and I feel like he's the most over looked player. He's one of those player that could really benefit from moving to a better league I feel like. Definitely not completely solid but I think Spahic and Besic could cover up his mistakes like they did with Bico.

 

I meant world class in their respective positions.

3 inches shorter and rounder. Cant compare them at all. Besic is leaner.

Sunjic has more things to correct. End of.

Praying that a defender can cover for a defender for 90 mins? Thats how you lose games. Trust is key in football.

 

You should go back and watch how Medel plays at Cardiff last season.

Your not "praying" that a defender can cover, you are trusting your teammates as you said to help you out if needed, Bico was fine for about 80+ minutes against Argentina, I'm pretty confident that Sunjic is no worse than Bico. Sunjic passes my eye test. End of.

 

Ive watched Medel plenty Besic is better than him.

Trusting Sunjic? Damn near impossible unless its a friendly or against a low level squad.

Sunjic is worse than Bico. Vranjes shits on both.

 

Vranjes is better, but at this point in the NT I would start seeing what Sunjic brings to the table more than Bico. We've all seen what Bico has so far and it doesn't look to be enough. Next qualifying rounds we need to be testing more CB's.

And I never said one was better than the other. Just that they play similarly, which is true. Cardiff had played a 4-5-1 very often until Mackay was fired.

Know know what happened to Jasmin Sudic? I remember hi gettin tons of hype, but then he was injured and never heard from again.

Anyone know if he's recovered?

Edit: just checked his twitter and instagram, and it's filled with pictures of Dzeko, pictures of Bosnian flags, ect ect so he seems willing to play for Bosnia if called up. According to Wikipedia he's still in the Swedish league, but I guess that doesn't tell the whole story because Besic plays in the Hungarian team.
