true, but there are some decent sides from europe at home like sweden, czech republic, and russia. UEFA needs to rethink how they do the groups because no one wants to see this crap in a wc. sweden, denmark, portugal, and hungary 4 decent sides with WC history were all in the same group while greece was in this group:

    Team v • d • e
    Pld Pts
    Switzerland 10 21
    Greece 10 20
    Latvia 10 17
    Israel 10 16
    Luxembourg 10 5
    Moldova

    thats not exactly fair.

good teams have missed out before from UEFA, such as Turkey right now and Holland in 02.

I think one big problem we have I think is that our bench is somewhat limited, I hoped to see some speed and creativity on the bench with players like lavezzi instead of another no. 9 like Palermo which we already have 2 of, o well. Pace is something we need on the bench to take advantage of tired legs late in the match IMO.

Do you think Di Maria was tired and slow because he's not fit at that altitude and also because he's skinny compared to someone like Demi?

I think it had to do with that he barely got the ball, we played mostly on the right, i think because they attacked that side the most, that and our midfield was lacking to distribute the ball, but even like that we had many goal chances and shot on goals.
