If there was a time to miss a chance like that, it would be today

Another chance wasted because we pass it back to Messi.

Great work by Lo Celso to get the ball to Messi and a great goal.

Lo Celso again with the ball to start the second goal.

Kun needs to be a bit more selfish and take the shot instead of trying to play a cute ball.

Lo Celso is amazing....amazing...amazing. His football IQ is what impresses me the most.

    Messi is Messi.

Indeed. For the first goal, he waited the perfect second to allow Messi to get enough space from the defense. Even Messi was surprised by that pass.

Lo Celso has been everywhere...taking the game by the scruff of the neck, like we have been crying out for someone to do for the past decade.

Mati Suarez has done some good things, but has made some wrong decisions as well.

My man of the half: Lo Celso. What a player and he has great chemistry with Messi.

Left Wing needs to be more involved as all our best build up are coming from the right side imo.

I think we saw enough of Lo Celso, Messi, and Kun. Bring in the likes of Lautaro, Dybala and etc.

I think we should try to get Aguero a goal, and then let them sub out.

Once he did shoot, it led into the second goal. We needs to be more direct like that in final third. Lo Celso has been involved throughly on the attack, hopefully he'd play this good in Copa. We will have much bigger chance if that happen. That pass in which Messi scores from it looked like Roman's pass.

He clearly avoiding to make a strong sprint and just play it casually. Obviously to avoid injury. The second goal came from his powerfull shot nevertheless.

By the way, Messi’s pass to Lo Celso in the 7th minute was a thing of beauty.

Foyth has also demonstrated some nice footwork out at the back.

Teams will no longer have the benefit to collapse on Messi, Lo Celso is pulling the strings and find the forwards. Messi didn't have to do all the creating, I'm not seeing him have to pick up the ball from the other side of the field anymore.

I know it is only a friendly but even in friendlies just 2 years back with the likes of Masche and Biglia, we didn't get this type of service.

    This....absolutely this.

Even in friendlies, Messi was dropping back. Now he is staying up top.

The only problem is that almost all the creativity is coming from Lo Celso only.

In 2016-2018 friendlies, we looks equally weak even in friendlies against weak opponents. Old Masche / Biglia combo was so forgettable that it became unforgettable because how crap that was.

Paredes has the ability to cut the defense in half as well but he's playing a bit disciplined, he doesn't want to venture off too much and be caught.
