Hello I'm a Portuguese football fan from Thailand. I've been supporting this country since 1994. Now I wonder, are there any new and young talented Portuguese central defender. Players like Bruno Alves, Jose Fonte and Pepe have all passed their best career. Thank you, and I will always support this Country (thank to Paulo Sousa, I admired him as the best midfielder in my mind and made me support Portugal)
Short answer is , No. the future plan is to try and score more than the opponents. JK, I feel like we have many good fullbacks , but Centre backs its tough to see. to be honest, most Portuguese centre backs dont become any good until their late 20s. Ruben Semedo, Paulo Oliveira, Edgar Ie... the list is thin.
