Are the Crew and USSF serious about this?

What happened to having a home field advantage? The All-Star Game will sellout but now there will be a few thousand Mexican fans at the US/Mexico match instead a few hundred like last time.

It is very demoralizing to see our work negated by marketing to the enemy team. It happens again and again.

    A. If the All-Star game sells-out I'll streak across the field naked. It ain't happening.
    B. Last time, in Feb of 2001, there we plenty more than a "few hundred" Mexican fans.

Unless Les Wexner decides to buy out half the stadium you won't have to worry.

Maybe they can shoot the Lingerie Show during the game.

Talk about selling out the place in a hurry.

I think there is a greater chance of seeing Fid's bare ass than seeing anything lingerie at "safe" Crew Stadium. Heck, I'm surprised the Crewzers are allow so show midrift...

It doesnt say it in that ad as far as I can tell but I seem to recall seeing this offer somewhere else. I think the deal is you get a special presale the day AFTER the presale for US Soccer ends. So yes the Mexican fans can get tickets but it will be after all of the Crew season ticket holders and US Soccer Family.

OK, I just looked it up. The US soccer presale ends July 31st. This offer is for a presale Aug. 1st and the rest of the tickets go on sale Aug. 2nd.

I don't think we'll have to worry too much. With the deals for Crew season ticket holders that allow 8 tickets plus your normal amount of seats and 4 plus your seats for partial season packages, as well as the USSF presale, there isn't going to be a lot left for this presale and the public sale.

I'm not quite sure I understand. How would this be any different than letting a Mexican fan buy a partial season ticket package for the Crew, and getting in on the pre-sale that way?

In fact, wouldn't a partial season ticket package be even cheaper than All-Star game tickets?
