Any one have any news on this game? I'm curious to know who played, what the score was, and whether or not these games need an [R].

Top Drawer is fielding reserve league reporters so they will be one of the first places to see the results and a writeup.
    Nothing yet though on RSL/LA.

meh, oh well, results dont really matter at that level IMO, since the most important thing is development. But i wonder if there will be a championship awarded to the top team (no playoffs, simply best record wins the league)

there is, its like $10,000 or something. Single Table Format.

DC United with Adu + Simms have to be the favorites.

dunno about DC, remember that you can only play a total 90 mins, and adu's playing time in the first team is gonna increase as the season progresses.

I tried to figure it out, but the RSL players didnt even know. It was a nice goal too.

Luke Kremermemrermermermermermeeyer looked good, and so did the RSL keeper. It could have been 7 ot 8 goals for LA if it hadnt been for the keeper's fine saves.

Maybe the goalscorer was open tryout player - Adam Acosta - since he just signed a 3 day "guest player" contract prior to the reserve game.

Sounds like a fun game. RSL's depth is a little exposed at this point, especially against a stacked team like LA. Ngwenya plays for his national team, and Naldo, Enfield, Umana, Chinchilla & Broome are no push overs with a lot of first team experience.

RSL's line-up seems like the following:

Nolly - Dunseth, Knowles, Lookingland, Flores - Kremalmayer (Acosta), Cutler, Novik, Brown - Cila, Watson. Sub Not Used: Palmer

Mellor made the comment that he only had 1 field player sub (Acosta). Players are supposedly capped at 90 total minutes of total playing time (1st team and reserve team) per weekend - I am wondering if Brown played the whole reserve game despite playing 15 minutes for the 1st team if no other subs were available. It looks like the 28 man roster should expand as the current 1st team/reserve situation gets thron a curveball when there are injured players who can not play in either game (i.e. Whitfield, Stewart for RSL).

I thought Lookingland was still at school. Glad to see him out there, I saw him in preseason and he is very good.
    Spring break game? :)
