The Soccer365 blue with the gold background is kinda... funky. And by that I don't mean fun-KAY.

Stop saying it's gold. It's only yellow.

And what is this "wants to be friends" thing? What's that all about.

You'll have to excuse him, he's Australian, they've been telling themselves for years that there's no such colour as yellow, only gold.

As opposed to the English, who've never actually seen gold firsthand. ;)

    Bump.

    BTW, can I add:

    3) How about giving us a reply option in PM's instead of making us have to "quote" in order to respond to a PM.

A grey background would look more work friendly imo.

So.. about the buddy list things..

is there a way to reject people that want to be your buddy? or do they just stay under the "wants to be (name)'s buddy" list forever?

    My suggestions (bump)

    1. Can someone create "USA Men: General" (or whatever we want to call it) so that USA Men is a non-posting parent forum?

That way, people can use MyBigSoccer to easily keep track of what's going on in USA Men outside of USA Men: N&A and USA Men: Travel.

((right now it's practically worthless to subscribe to "USA Men" on MyBigSoccer since the "Last Posts" in that particular forum are overwhelmed by "Last Posts" from the more popular N&A and Travel sub-forums))

    2. What about mailing lists for Buddies?

I have various sub-groups of BigSoccer buddies, and it would be nice to be able to PM a particular sub-group by clicking on just one select box.

If we can do this with email, why not Buddies too?

    1) Why not make it so that "last post in forum" brings up only that forum and not any attached subforums? -- If I was interested about a subforum, wouldn't I subscribe to that particular subforum?

    2) Increased PM features - Ten times normal members + send to multiple users at once ....

I believe you'd be wanting that. It's a premium feature. Click here for more info.

That would be fine with me.

However, I have a feeling that it's a lot easier just to create a new sub-forum for the non-N&A general interest USA threads.

The MLS forums use a no-post parent forum "Major League Soccer" to great effect.

The English forums use a no-post parent forum "England" in the same manner successfully.

So WHY can't we have the same effective setup for "USA Men"?????

I'm already a premium member so I have those features.

My suggestion is to let us have mailing lists for PM'ing groups of buddies.

    e.g. in my case:

    "FC Dallas fans"
    "FC Dallas West Side Supporters"
    "MLS & USA moderators"
    etc, etc

Mailing lists are used all the time to great advantage when emailing.

So why not let us use them for PM'ing too?

Note: if this takes a bit of $ to implement, though that seems unlikely to me, why not make PM mailing lists a benefit of premium membership?

Obviously, the more benefits there are to having premium membership, the more premium memberships you're likely to sell.

We cannot offer PM mailing lists at this time.
It's up to the US mods what they want as far as general.

Thanks for getting back to me on this.

    1) I think PM mailing lists would be a nice plus to offer Premium members, so hopefully you all can make that happen down the road.

    2) As to "USA Men: General", I am a US mod.

Since you and dark knight have both agreed to the "USA Men: General" idea, how do I get anything done to implement it?
