Wow aguila have sacked Argentinian Edgardo Malvestiti due to the president thinking communication between him and the players have broke down, Ever since Pedro Arieta iglesias has taken over the running of the club from his father, they have been various weird decision (such as sackin Ramon Samchez who took Aguila to the final and now Malvestiti despite Aguila leading the competition) and the payment of players not being paid on time. Clearly his lack of skill on running clubs jas been exposed unlike his father who did sack coaches but they were reasonable such as Aguila not making the playoff and not once did i hear aguila players not being paid on time sigh.

This season has been atrocious and I give it an F in mostly everything (i will do every category once a week)
    1) Players and coaches not being paid: (only four clubs have been able to pay their players and staff on time and with no problem and report of players striking or news on late payment: these are Alianza, Limeno, Metapan and Santa Tecla)
worst offenders are pasaquina (four months of salary yet to be paid) and FAS (2 months)

Defintley Agree Benji and Arroyo should be the national team keepers, as both have been so consitent and the ebauty both are young for a goalkeeper defintley can build for the next two world cup campaign when 2022 and 2026 come around Benji will be 36 years old and Arroyo will 34 years old. Thats offcourse we dont have a great keeper come through the rank.

Wow massive new Jorge Zarco Rodriguez and Metapan have parted ways, even though he has said FESFUT has not contacted him about the national team job, its strange they have parted since they have been so consistent.

Hmmm so whats Jorge Zarco Rodriguez likely next destination

New coach of FAS (replacing Osvaldo Escudero who been named national team coach) 10/1
New coach of Santa Tecla (Replacing Ernesto Cortiwho been named national team coach) 10/1
New coach of a fourth division USA team or academy 14/1
    new coach of Pasaquina 16/1

Metapan has been doing so well on the coaching front for a while why they would go with Gamarra makes absolutely no sense.

Call it harsh but Gamarra is like a roach he manages to survive despite crap results and blaming everyone but himself similar to Ancheta.

Thats Probably the most honest statement ever, Yes he has won two titles but each of those campaign he was sacked the very next season. What confuses they have three good coaches would made more logical sense William Osorio (Santa Ana native, has coached in the primera division before and was Jorge Rdriguez assistant), Misael Alfaro (Metapan legend and shown with Firpo he can coach a very attacking team) and lastly Paraguayan Hugo Olvear (who has shown to be able to get the best of players escepially young ones).

The most depressing part about these transferable lists at the end of the season is seeing once young promising talent officially become burnt up tossed around pieces in a dead end league.

I'm looking at you players like Isidro Gutierrez, Edwin Sanchez, Chino Flores, and some of the players from the u20 Turkey WC roster.

But that has a lot to do with the use of older players. Many players are washed up in the league and are still being used.

    Grand Final
Alianza 2-3 Santa Tecla (Alianza goalscorer: Alex Larin 48 min and Rodolfo Zelaya 53 min; Santa Tecla goalscorers: Gerson Mayen 45 min, Sebastian Abreu 78 min and 91 min)
    Highlights:

Wow what a grand final that was, the first half was very close and the battle would be in the midfield. when the first goal, suddenly the flood gates open and each side went for it. Santa Tecla showed why they were incredible side, and thats what marquee player is supposed to do not only bring the attention of the footballing public to your club, but adapt to your club style and be that game changer.
He worth his weight in goal, just to show how much of a different he has been ..he scored 5 goals in the semis and grand final (and all goals were game changers). but I cannot give enough praise to Gerson Mayen And lester Blanco they were outstanding throughout the year, they linked play well and just went about their work no fuss and I saw a drastic improvement in the game of Lester Blanco (I feel like he should stay under the coaching of Corti).
Mayen has to be selected in the nationa team, he has been the most consistent midfielder in the primera divisiom along with Herbert Sosa.
Alianza defensive frailties finally showed again both defenders fell asleep in marking Abreuand just struggled when any attack went in the box. You could tell that put Arroyo off, who didn't trust his defence and that second goal was due his lack of faith in his defence by coming out and realising that his defence had fallen asleep.
Primera Division look what happens when we get coaches with fresh ideas and arent the same bunch of idiots like Gamarra, Ancheta and co.

Melendez has ended his coaching regime of Alianza and will go back to being sports director of Alianza, canditates to replace Jorge Zarco Rodriguez.

    My tips for the season
My top 8 in no particular order: Alianza ✔ , Aguila ✔, Metapan ✔, Santa Tecla ✔, Sonsonate ✔, UES x and Firpo (haha forgot to add a eight team haha the three other teams were Limeno, Pasaquina and FAS)
Champions: Alianza x (damn so close, finished runners up)
First coach sacked: Hugo Olevar x (failed he rode out with his contract,
Topscorer: Walter Vasquez, William Reyes and Bladimir Diaz x stunningly it was colombian Jefferson Viveros of municipal limeno
Goalkeeper of the tournament: Joel Almeida x nope benji villalobos had a great tournment earning him a recall to the national team
Best Foreign Player: Colombian Carlos Hidalgo x a tie between uruguayans sebastian Abreu and Nicols Fagundez
Best domestic player: Edwin Sanchez x damn he didnt ive up to the hype, defintley has to Gerson Mayen
Most improved team: Sonsonate ✔ finished first defintley a massive improvement.
Biggest downfall: Dragon ✔ (called it losing all the players that won you a championship, concacaf commitment, sacking omar seville, hiring ancheta and hernandez were the perfect recipe, i saw thwe writing on the wall)
bottom two: Limeno and Pasaquina x (fail both made the final, bottom two Dragon and UES)
Team with highest average attendance: Alianza ✔
Team with the worst average attendance: Metapan x Dragon had the lowest attendance due to laying in Limeno home ground

Final scorecard 8 out of 20, puch these are alway so hard to predict at the start of the season lol

After seeing the final again on youtube (shoutout to pepsinono!) I wanna say some thing about our players.
    Tecla:
Almeida (GK)- Seemed shaky at times. None of the goals were his fault though.
Tamacas (RB)- good game, good skill on the ball. You could see how young he is though, as he was caught out of position at times, and gave away the ball needlessly. Though I'm still excited he is the RB for the NT. (Zelaya's goal was his faut though. Kept him onside
Ivan Mancia (CB)- He showed the experience needed, especially pairing with dominguez. Helped lead that back line and gave both Tamacas and Dominguez confidence. Wouldn't mind seeing him in the NT
Dominguez (CB)- Dumb foul when he got the yellow. But had a good game, had Zelaya in his pocket.
Barahona (LB)- Experience again. He held his own, and kept Ceren outta the game.
Mayen (CDM)- MOTM for me. He is the motor for Tecla, and was what kept tecla going with his movement of the ball. Locked in starter for me in the NT as well.
Chavarria (CDM)- Great game. unnecessarily aggressive at times, but good game. Like his partnership with Mayen, as he is the actual defensive mid and alway stays back to defend. Persoanlly, a good backup for Darwin C for the NT.
Ayala (RM)- great game. Killed that left side of Alianza, and was dropping well.
Maldonado (CAM)- Unlucky for me. Didnt sccore or assist, though he should have. Backup for Sosa in the NT? should get a shot.
Cornejo (LM)- flojo. Missed many passes, though he did vreate some good ones. His defensive duty was displayed though, so thats a +.
    Abreu (ST) - GOAT. Simple.

    Alianza:
Arroyo (GK): Agree with BKC. Didn't trust his defense, gave away the second goal. Also, unnecessary kicks to Mayen 2x. Shouldve seen red. but great shot stopper. Excited to have him in the NT, though Benji deserves starting role.
Dany Torres (RB): Decent display, kept Cornejo quiet. Beat sometimes, but definetely not as bad as the center or left.
Jacobo (CB): nothing impressive. was beaten time and again by Abreu and Maldonado. Always left Abreu alone.
Silva (CB): If you bring an outsider, you would hope that he performs better than the ES players. Silva was beaten time and again by Abreu and Maldonado. Always left Abreu alone.
Flores Jaco (LB): Poor display. From the beginning, he was being beat and many opportunities came from his side. Lucky for him, was not scored on in open play.
Portillo (LM): decent game, tracked back a lot and had some good interplay with zelaya. IIRC, he centered the ball for Zelaya's goal.
Valencia (CDM): Beaten many many times. Personally, I think it had to do with Larin. tried to spray open the field for Alianza, but most of the game went to sosa and Zelaya.
Larin (CDM): all i can say is, why. He shouldve been LB, wit Rivera in the middle. His goal was class, but looked very lost in the midfield there.
Ceren (RM): Non exisent. Hneslty, i saw very very little of him in the final.
Sosa (CAM): good game. He did what he had to do, took shots, gave passes behind the defense, even dropped back. Liked him behind Zelaya.
Zelaya (ST) His goal was nice. Ran his heart out. Sometimes dribbled too much, gotta not fight so much. Felt if he focused more in the first half in playing and not fighting, he couldve done more damage.

Good final. Liked it alot. The 'difference' makers i felt did well. The second half was much much better, though the defense on both teams let in many goals that should not be happening.

Yikes. Channel 4 and the TCS are taking down content left and right. Even that Salva defender guy closed his channel and he seemed to be around forever. I wonder if it all started because people were blatant streaming games out in the open on Youtube.
