This is why no one takes our league seriously, after you have a cracker of a game between firpo and aguila. you get the bad stuff like this Nelson Ancheta being registered as a player and meant he couldn't coach from the bench due to this reasoning.

Sadly biggest talking point over the weekend was the incident between suspended Chalatenango president Francisco Perraza and uruguayn coach Ruben Alonso (who resigned) the issue came ahead due to the loss, but was the result of many factors (from late payments, too unrealistic goals, and various other things). it came ahead when Perraza called Alonso a corrupt individual. which is the biggest insult to say in el salvador football. After seeing the incident, i am truly think perraza was in the wrong, yes Alonso lost his cool and placed his hand on him. Firstly, why was perraza at the game he is suspended due to the whole hinteroza incident, secondly why would you call someone as honourable as Alonso who is the most vocal against corruption in football something so bad, and lastly as the head of a club you deal with these matter behind close doors. you tarnish the club but also el salvador football
Finally some good news. La copa El Salvador started and did what I was hoping it would do. It gives more exposure to the lower division teams as well as playing time for some younger players. http://elsalvadorfc.com/arranco-la-copa/
The only downside is that some of the games had no TV or even radio presence. Hopefully that will improve as time goes on the journalist did great legwork making sure they got the rest of the results.

Loco Abreu looks to be headed out already. It's good Santa Teclas is trying different things but I wish they would've built a stronger youth system with that money. http://www.laprensagrafica.com/2016/11/11/bangu-anuncia-que-abreu-retorna-al-futbol-brasileo
To be fair he did what Santa Tecla needed him to do which was bring attention to the club and bring sponsorship (which he did after they signed with 3 companies). though crowd wise i would say there was a slight increase, they need to take a more cpmmunity approach if they ever wanna be as big crowd numbers like Alianza
