Palencia picking up where he left off

Let's hope we are not plagued by injuries this season because you look at the bench and there is not much experience

We really should have won 4-0 at least

4 debuts is great... but everyone except the Sandoval guy were already in their 20's

Sandoval did well, although he was not tested much. The yellow he got was a good "professional" foul

Herrera looked lost with the ball on his feet but seemed ok as a poste with his back to goal

The other two guys didn't really play long enough for me to really rate them

I liked that memo stuck with Velarde as a carrilero with Fuentes as his cover. That really worked great in the liguilla

Palencia is good for 50mins per game

We have a real thin squad but imo if we are injury free for the most part, we should make it to the liguilla

i love how we finished the game with 11 canteranos

i wonder how long cacho will be out? i'm not sure about our back-up forwards, but i would love to see them play more. we play morelia on friday and this should test our new squad since san luis wasn't much for the most part

Man, we might not have the strongest roster but there is no team that runs and fights more than us

I love stealing points on the road.

Also, the more I see Palencia play, the more I realize he should have been called up for Copa America.

    Awesome!

    Really happy for Lalo Herrera
Dude has looked out of place all season long

Hopefully this is the first of many goals from him

3 games, 3 wins, 3 straight weeks of debuting players

    :cool::cool::cool:

Big, big win. Monterrey is a top 3 team. That Herrera kid is a great header of the ball, pero that's it. Cacho, IMHO, offers more dimensions. We need him back.

Palencia is a beast. I am thrilled he will finish his career as a Puma.

Pikolin and Reynoso going at it on corner kicks. Hilarious.

    0-0 FT

    Good results for us

Cortes has been very poor this season, although i think a lot of that has to do with him being played so far from goal

This good start to this season is huge for us because our lack of depth at striker and midfield will probably be exposed as the season goes on

The defense will have to carry this team

You are correct. 1 goal given up in 4 games is beyond terrific, but it can't hold the team forever. Cacho needs to come back quickly, though.

What is great (or awful) about the MFL, is that 4 more wins should put Pumas in the liguilla. 5 would defintely do it.

Oswaldo se esta dejando caer con cada contacto..

Veron just nearly snapped Uribe Peralta's neck, but he can do no wrong. :D

It looked like a snatch on the replay.

And yes, we need Cacho back ASAP.

    Gol chafa que regalamos.

Mal el portero, mal la barrera..

Y patada criminal de Cabrera para ganarse la tarjeta amarilla.
