I'm anxious to see what less than thrilling features have been added in and what useful features have been removed or hidden at best.

We're likely not going to subscribe again.

We had a seat of AutoDesk Architecture for a few years and never really found enough time to make it work like it said it would, so we wanted to downgrade it to plain old AutoCAD.

WOW did they ever pitch a fit, said we had to pay for a "downgrade fee", to which I responded that we'd be not renewing our subscription.

Money must be tight because they magically waived it.

I have heard thru the grapevine it's horrendous.

Evidently they changed all kinds of shit to confuse the crap out of us.

Just like the new Microsoft Office Suite.

Well, they did a lot of that in 2009 with the "Ribbon" which you have to slog through to turn off

A friend of mine is the CAD manager at one of the big players in NYC. She says she's done after 09 and has dedicating her time to Revit. Which sucks because my company subs with hers and my remedial BIM knowledge makes me the expert in the office.

i personally have fallen in love with solidworks, its very easy to use but im also a mechanical engineering grad (no, haven't found work yet, hopefully soon), and it has more stuff for my tastes

you can download a student version to play with at solidworks website under their own "economic stimulus package"
