Weiner Fixes Web Photo Gaffe Democratic New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner revamped his campaign website’s homepage with a picture of the Big Apple’s skyline after the site had been displaying a photograph of Pittsburgh.Weiner’s website initially featured a photograph of Pittsburgh’s Roberto Clemente bridge, according to a CBS New York report. Weiner’s office updated the site after reporters asked about it. The phrase "photo gaffe" next to "Anthony Weiner" does suggest it could've been funnier.
I only wish ChrisM was here to laugh at all my double entendres. Noboby appreciates a good weiner joke more than Chris.
Stephen Colbert recently set a new world record for most sexual innuendos in a single sentence: "After withdrawing from public life Anthony Weiner is ready to stick it back in, that folks takes balls and sadly we know he has them."
I think he misunderstood-- when people suggested he run, they stopped right there. They didn't append "for public office..."
They got lots in common. Don't the gospels say that Jesus "revealed himself" to Mary Magdalene, or something to that effect?
I don't know about this. My sense of humor is as juvenile as ever, but it's been years since I've laughed at an Anthony Weiner-related pun. Just seems played out to me. Sorry to be the resident Debbie Downer.
Can't do much about your surname (without a lot of trouble, anyhow) but hey, his folks had the good sense not to name him Richard.
I'll be voting for Weiner in the primary. Screw Quinn thanks to her holding back on the minimum wage increase and sick leave bill for so long. She looks more and more like Bloomy's 4th term. No, thank you. And I'll definately be going for Spitzer as comptroller. He understands the real criminals in NY hang out on the southern tip of Manhattan. Go get out your steamroller again, Eliot!
Just thought the puritans around here would like to know how this is going... Spitzer, Weiner Both in Top Spot in Redemption Bids - CNN
Is it just a coincidence that Anthony Wiener is trending on National Hot Dog Day, or did he get in more trouble?
