So, we've had these two "budding stars" for about 4 years now. This season, neither has even cracked the bench, forget starting lineup. Beckford, who shows hustle, but little skill, and is 4-5 years older, is consistently preferred to them. And, overall, our offence has been anemic. How bad are they?
This spider is why i have a gripe with yanks. Vaughan is out on loan and Anichebe is injured. Now you have a slight point over Vaughan as he could have at least played but to not know Vic is injured....i despair
You are right. For some reason, I completely forgot about Anichebe's injury last season. To defend the "yanks." Here's the thing - I even watched the game that Anichebe was injured in, and have watched 3 out of 5 Everton matches so far this season. And, I now recall reading the article about Vaughan going out on loan. However, as hard as you may find it, Everton news are not constantly in your face. So, if you forget an event, chances are - you are unlikely stumble onto it by accident, as you would if you reside at a location where that news predominates. That's just a fact of life.
