scored two gold today for AC Milan in the Europa league. Let's use this thread to follow his progress , one of Portugals most promising young players .
They play crotone tomorrow who I think is one of the shittier teams in serie a so hopefully he scores on his league debut
It has begun, A.Silva not in the starting lineup. J.Mario also not starting for Inter. We need to hope our players stay clear of Italy and their overrated league. It usually doesn't work out well with the exception of a few.
Had a long break due to the Confederations Cup and maybe only really ready now, came on last game and played well, really should start next game, down to Pepe. Many Man City supporters were also saying he should start next game.
I have a friend that is an Milan fan, he loves the kid but thinks they want to bring him up slowly. They dont want to put him i high pressure situations...
This was inevitable. Let's not forget, Santos does not bother with bench warmers. Might have to look to Eder again xD
Well, he has done one better, Nelson Oliveira, who I think Ronaldo does not like (I might be totally wrong, just got a feeling)...and he scored, so he might make the WC xD
He needs to do that consistently. When it should go in, it has to go in. If he would of gotten that opportunity at the confederations cup, he would have botched it somehow.
The kid also hasn't played much this season and it really shows. Santos had no choice but to select him since our striker pool is pretty shallow. I'm hoping AC Milan use him because that last game vs the Swiss is going to be massive and we need this kid to score some goals.
He has to start no matter what. His link up play with CR7 has too much potential to pass up on. I don't want to see the ugly duckling on this team again. Thank you, Eder. Wholeheartedly. You are forever ingrained in Portuguese history but if we call you up it means we are in panic mode up top.
he's the best U21 striker in Europe with the exception of players who are french and black. give him time, he is much better than any Striker Portugal has produced since Pauleta, and will likely surpass him. He fought hard to put that ball in against a flying kick.
I hope so too, but its hard for a Portuguese to win over Italians. unless you are Saint Anthony, who they think is Italian anyways.
Anthony of Padua? They love that guy but I think he is more popular in North America than Italy. I used to love telling my Italian buddies' parents that Anthony was a pork chop.
Not even used as a sub when AC Milan got destroyed 4-1. I'm hoping there is a good reason for not using him. If he doesn't play, should not be called up for the NT. Money talks, if China wanted him, he would be sold just as fast.
