Okay I know Anderlecht are up 1-0, so that evens it up.

Anyone want to post a play by play here for me to review when I get back home?

Sorry no play by play, I'm busy with another Champions League match ;). But Anderlecht won 3-0. Not sure if they are through or not, but I hope they are.

Congratulations Anderlecht! You've done a great job. I'm pretty confident you might be able to pass the first round.

Groups stages are next right? Could be ugly. I just hope we get to see some Belgian teams on TV.

How much does he cost? We were close to sign Luis Fabiano this summer, I think he is not more expensive than him.

    For 12.5 million he's yours.

12 Million is the minimum bid. If Ajax sells Zlatan, they'll be calling on Anderlecht for Aruna.

Luis Fabiano costs 15 million, Porto also offered 15 million for Rosicky.

I don't know if it would be a good idea. Aruna is a different type of player, fits better in a two-striker system. It would be the same mistake Sonck made before.
There's a lot of fuzz going on about Aruna leaving. The chairman, Roger Vandenstock called him a 'kid' (in Dutch) for wanting to leave all of a sudden for minor clubs.
I also think Anderlecht should play CL with Aruna.
Anderlecht have also informed for Buffel (who is on a sidetrack anyway) but he would be out of their league.

I don't think Aruna wants to go to Porto.

Anderlecht has Valencia, Inter Milan and Werder Bremen in the Champions League.

Doubt we get any of those matches on TV.

Why would he prefer Ajax? If he wants to go to a team like Milan or Arsenal he will not have any luck.

I just think Ajax, but Porto could be a great option.

Ajax had scouts there yesterday, and Anderlecht reported it on their own website. The other teams mentioned are West Bromwich, Tottenham (who are bidding on everyone) and another also-ran EPL club.

I don't think Ajax and Porto are options for Aruna.
I know for sure West Brom and Tottenham are no options for Anderlecht. Aruna definitely wants to play in the EPL, Anderlecht will only let him go to a top club. But the interest ManU showed last year has cooled down, so I really think he should stay one more year at Anderlecht.

I don't think Aruna wants to go to Portugal or Holland.
He probably has his mind set on the big leagues, England, Spain, Italy or maybe a top French or German club.

I think West Bromwich don´t have the money. And Tottenham is probably the best thing he can find in the EPL playing as a starter.

Tottenham has Defoe, Robbie Keane and Kanoute. Not exactly easy pickens for him to start over.

    ---
West Brom offered €8.5, but Anderlecht wants €12 million minimum.

Spain or Portugal would be nice options, but if he wants EPL...somebody else better show up with some cash.

In Buffel's mind he is out of Anderlecht's league, but I'm not so sure that's true. Which club is bigger Feyenoord or Anderlecht? Both are giants in their respective leagues. I doubt Feyenoord would let Buffel go for less than 12 million euros anyway.
