Didn’t play today, and wasn’t on the bench.....injured again?

 

Well, they lost 1-3 to AGF Aarhus (my team), but then AGF look like the most solid looking team along with FC Midtjylland in the Superliga at the moment, considering the key players sold and all the changes FC København made in the summer transfer window + the no less than 9 injuries they have also suffered at this point, which right now make them no better than FCM and AGF, though FCK will still be the favorite to become Champions in the long run.

FCN is as usual highly talented, but much too inexperienced and young a team to keep up with top-3 ... we should never forget that FCN is more or less fielding a reinforced team of Danish U-21 NT quality with 6 players below the age of 21 in the starting line-up.

Well, Amon is not injured but just out of form at the moment due to his injuries ... so in lack of much to say or write about, but considering his many injuries and setbacks, I'm ironically going to post the 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' tune performed by the excellent (Danish public service) DR Orchestra (the equivalent to the English BBC Orchestra) also known as The Danish National Symphony Orchestra ... and a few more (Kill Bill: Bang Bang - My Baby Shot me Down and Once Upon a Time in the West) to celebrate the cultural connection between Denmark/Europe and the USA .. :

In all seriousness it is fascinating how his music is now inseparable from the public concept of the American West.

I believe @Ceres said in this thread that FCN felt Amon's running motion made him susceptible to injuries

Transfer news :

FCN have send their Ghanian striker Godsway Donyoh on a ½-year loan to the German 2nd Bundesliga side Dynamo Dresden with an option to buy at an undisclosed fixed priced.

Transfers

FCN have sold their 19-yo Danish U-21 NT winger Mikkel Damsgaard to Italian side Sampdoria for €7 million, but Damsgaard will be staying at FCN until the end of this season.

As you may have noticed, then FCN do earn quite a lot of money by selling players in just about every transfer window, so the reason why they are still a fairly low budget Superliga team is the fact that they, besides their youth department in general, spend $5.4 million a year on their two youth Academies, with the Right to Dream Academy' in Ghana being the most expensive of the two.

 

Btw ... FCN also have a women's soccer team and FCN have signed the US outside back Ellie Jean in this winter transfer window:
