This seems to be the case often with Amon. Not at a Taitague level but every few months it seems like he gets an injury.

Last year we got a new regulation regarding the privacy act (Persondataloven = Person-data-law), so FCN are not able to reveal why their players are injured if the player in question has not agreed to it... So in other words, if Amon is injured, as he unfortunately has been several times in the past, FCN are no longer able to reveal it or why, if Amon do not agree to it being revealed.

The fantasy futbol players in Denmark must be furious at these developments.

And scores after a nice give-and-go.

20 ' WOOOOOOW!!! FOR A BOX! The little American rounds just one player outside the field and plays 1-2 with Mikkel Damsgaard and then goes further towards the goal and dots the ball under Jesper Hansen. Super scoring #FCNFCM (1-0)

He makes difficult plays look so easy. Great to see him back and on the scoresheet.

In the highlights i posted above, they call him a huge future star in the making, if he is able to escape getting injured [all the time].

It's not lack of talent that often keep him benched for a longer period of time, but all the injuries that is the problem.

Wait, so you’re saying the story that he was still quite raw, that everyone had figured him out, that he had to learn to combine with other players, that he lacked a lot — is wrong?

His own coach called him very raw ("Street baller" was his exact words, I believe).

Street baller might mean very skillful. Maybe he meant tactically raw? Where is the link to his comments? Translation can be tricky — as can reporting from it.

In Denmark you start playing at a very young age (at the age of 5 or 6) and all the tactical issues are addressed at a very young age way before you become an adult, so long before they get their debut in the Superliga, a home grown player know exactly what to do tactically, even if he is not really that skilled or talented. So foreign players are always very far behind tactically when they arrive and it's expected that it usually takes at least a year if not more before they are able to figure it out ..

Tactical issues are the by far the most important factor when foreign players fail making it in the Superliga, no matter how skilled they otherwise may seem to be .. Amon has been very down to earth and highly eager to learn and so this is no longer an issue.. it's only injuries that is holding him back.

Tab has to call him up now, right? The kid is back in form, and when in form, is a phenomenal young player. De la Fuente, Amon, and Llanez on the wings would terrorize teams in the wing. You throw in Weah potentially coming, and the US would be a terror in attack.

I believe Tab will try to call up Amon but I believe his role on the team will be a super-sub.

It's up to Nordsjaelland. The last game of their season is on May 25. The first game of the U-20 WC is on May 24
