Okay folks, I've made a change that should make it a little easier to have a conversation now. As always, I appreciate the report that drew my attention to the issue. And @Ceres , I agree with everyone who said we're glad you're here.
The fact that FCN are able to sell a long-term injured Danish U-21 NT player to a team in the Spanish La Liga for €5 million + add-on's should tell you something ... Financially FCN is still a fairly small club by Danish standards, so FC København are able to demand much more money when they sell a player, simply because they do not need to sell and are a regular in the Europa cup group stages ... Midtjylland is the moneyball club of Europe, so obviously they are going to be better at buying and selling .... as for Brøndby, they used to be great at developing talents and selling players, but right now they do not really impress much in that respect, at least not in compare with FCN, which is still "work in progress" ... 4-5 years from where they hope and would like to be ...
Winner, winner, chicken dinner! It's an issue across all of the leagues which have a big-attendance top 3 that always has a team or two that makes the EL or CL group stages and a few much smaller teams trying to gatecrash that party. The other teams - no matter how well-managed in the short-term - always end up choosing between going with the big boy's has-beens, might-have-beens or never weres (Scotland), or bringing their own youngsters through. Kudos to Denmark for going the harder route: double kudos for making it work.

He has had a couple of nice moments in the first 20 minutes. Really tidy on the ball and has beat his defender a couple of times.
Coming off the field in the 2nd half with an injury. He walked off the field on his own but he was very obviously in pain.

GOAL NORDSJÆLAND! Amon involved in the build-up to the goal and its 1-0 late. Great trap to settle the ball, Amon then slides it down the left side to a teammate, and it’s crossed in and flicked for the goal.— Joe Gould (@twelfthyank) December 10, 2018
Can’t wait to see how Berhalter utilizes Amon. He likes Left wingers who cut in so I could see him usin Jonathan a lot
Amon has a ton of talent but, IMHO, Berhalter is going to want to see Amon improve defensively before he sees a lot of minutes with the USMNT.
I would usually agree with you but the style GGG wants to play, Amon does not have that tough of competition. Saief, Weah and maaaybe Picault? It doesn't seem to far-fetched but we'll see. With him only having his debut cap (nerves could've been a problem even though he was still dangerous vs Peru) I'd like to see a few more caps from him to be sure.
Our best left winger is Christian Pulisic, so it's pretty stiff competition. Now, CP may play in the middle or the right instead, but if left wing is our weak spot, there's a pretty quick way to make it our strength by playing our best player there.
Everyone's basically written him off but Kekutah Manneh just started a match and got an assist in the Swiss league this weekend - another player to keep on the radar.
