yes the system is totally rigged to keep the current order in place.

re-drawing the draw at each round is another way they do this.

the issue is that you don't get the gap in the leagues and you think a point total makes up for it.

you claim that a 'top club' has an advantage because they don't have to play qualifiers.

the top clubs play in tough leagues they play way tougher matches on a weekly basis. you just have very little understanding on the gap a player mckennie has to face on a weekly basis compared to an amon to understand that gap isn't a uefa point total its a talent required to play on a weekly basis in a big league.

I could make an argument that guys like mckennie/pulisic won't play two matches in their entire club season as bad as the best team amon will play with his club.

there is a huge gap between denmark and those leagues.

FC København is as good as any mid-table team in the top 5 leagues ... just go look at the home and away statistics from their two games against Leicester in the 2016-17 Champions League group stage, where FCK had more possession and a better passing accuracy both home and away..

Like I said they cant compete with the big clubs. They failed to score in two matches against the 12th place club in the premier league when it was down. Not to mention it was literally maybe their best year ever not there average year. Normally they lose in champions league qualifying at best and then lose in Europe group stage.

its not that its hype based on nothing in many cases its guys saying they are scouts and have coaching backgrounds when in reality they aren't and have coached their daughters summer u8 club for one season they just want to use words they've seen smarter people use and pretend they have a clue and are smarter then the average poster.

FCK have been in a CL or EL group stage 12 out of the past 13 years in a row. The only reason they did not manage to score, was some world class goalkeeping from Schmeichel in both games ... and he practically made the difference .. FCK were as physically strong, had more possession and were better at passing the ball in both games ... FCK also got past the EL group stage last season and bumped off Atalanta in the play-off for this years Europa League group stage, and then so far also beat Bordeaux 2-1 away in France in their group.

But it's not that surprising when you got a team of players who perhaps play in a lesser league but are experienced NT players for their country, like Zeca (who was playing WC-18 play-off's and is a regular starter for Greece), Jan Gregus (WC-18 qualifiers for Slovakia) Kenan Kodro (WC-18 qualifiers for Bosnia), Pieros Sotiriou (WC-18 qualifiers for Cyprus) ...Michael Lüftner (WC-18 qualifier for the Czech Rep.), Bjelland and Ankersen, both playing WC-18 qualifiers and play-off's for Denmark, William Kvist and Viktor Fischer (who both played for Denmark at the WC-18) ... and then the most talented Danish U-21 NT player in the Superliga, Robert Skov, who scored the winning goal against Bordeaux and has scored in the past 5 games in a row in the Superliga, playing as a right winger :
    https://www.transfermarkt.com/robert-skov/leistungsdaten/spieler/270393

Though Robert Skov will surly be gone in the summer break .. just go look at his two goals agains my team AGF this past week :

The difference between a top team like FCK and a midt-table team is obvious ... FCK got experienced NT players in all positions, who are also used to playing tough Europa Cup games, while a mid-table team like FC Nordsjælland are a reinforced youth NT, that may be highly talented but do not have the same physique or international experience...

That is just factually wrong... FCK have gone past the CL or EL group stage 5 out of 12 times the past 13 years ... and actually both last season 2017-18, which was their worst season in the Superliga since 1999-00, only finishing 4th and also the year before in 2016-17 they went past the group stage, and they are also seeded to go past the group stage this season.

But the big problem all Scandinavian teams face in Europe is the very long winter break, so if they get past the group stage, they will need a miracle to go any further than a round of 32, because they will still be on winter break while especially the top-5 league teams they could face will be in top shape and in season... FCK did get past the round of 32 and reached the round of 16 in 2016-17 narrowly losing to Ajax that then also went on to beat Schalke and Lyon before losing to Man United in the final :
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016–17_UEFA_Europa_League#Knockout_phase

FCK also reached the Champions League round of 16 in 2010-11 where they, while still being on winter break, then lost (0-0 and 0-2) to Chelsea ... which is also regarded to be the best FCK team ever so far ...

As for the general quality of the Superliga, then the top-5 league obviously have the advantage of more money and being able to attract the best players because they play against top-5 league opponents every week ...

So the clubs in the Superliga need to be more inventive, which is also why the clubs all have a different approach on how to earn money and improve in Europe ... you have the "brute force" FC København that simply have a minimum wage of around $500k a year, with the philosophy being that no team is better than it's weakest links ... so just about their entire squad need to be experienced internationals, or among the best of the best youth internationals by Danish standards to be able to compete with the top-5 league clubs in Europe ... and to attract these NT players they promise them to play in a Europa cup group stage every year, and also to sell their top players within 2-3 years, if the right offer is there from the top 4 leagues ... but they also replace their best players at least ½ a season before they are sold, so that they do not sell and then need to find a replacement, which is how almost all other clubs do.

Then we have the absolute top moneyball FC of Europe, FC Midtjylland (that has send Bill Hamid out on loan to MLS) ... owned by the English boss of SmartOdds Matthew Benham who is also the owner of the English Championship side Brentford...
    https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/moneyball-fc-how-midtjylland-harnessed-7392936

Then we have a more mid-table team like Amons FC Nordsjælland, that is owned by the top African "Right to Dream Academy" owner Tom Vernon, who not only want FCN to be by far the youngest top-flight team of Europe, as they are right now, but also the best youth Academy in all of Europe within the next 4 years or so ... and then, some years from now, also a regular a top team in the Superliga, doing as well as FCK in Europe.

Then you have a team like Brøndby ...the club that developed the likes of Peter Schmeichel, Michael and Brian Laudrup in the past and most of the team that won the Euro-92 Championship .. but after having been close to bankruptcy some years back, they have now invested in a German coach and the players he is able to attract from the Bundesliga ...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brøndby_IF#Current_squad

... or that is, fringe Bundesliga players and players who helped and (like Dominik Kaiser) captained Leipzig when they won promotion from the 2. Bundesliga, but then later were not really good enough to be more than bench sitters for a top-half team in the Bundesliga ... unfortunately these fringe Bundesliga or key 2. Bundesliga players + some now former German youth internationals and some other foreign NT players have unfortunately not been able to do anything for Brøndby in Europe or raise them from the bottom half of the Superilga this season...

    just an fyi

I said they normally crash out in the group stage...you then said they have been passed the group stage 5 out of the last 12 years...which means...they normally crash out in the group stage making it factually correct lol.

but lets do the actual math because you don't get credit for being knocked out as advancing.

we will leave out 18-19 where they will be out of europa in group stage

    17-18...champions league...bombed out in qualifying round...0-1
    16-17..cl...group stage...done...0-2
    15-16...el...qualifying...done...0-3
    14-15...cl...qualifying...done...0-4
    13-14...el...group stage...done...0-5
    12-13...cl...qualify...done...0-6
    11-12...cl...qualify..done....0-7

    lets get real here

    such a gap

Even if you are an optimist and you want to call losing somehow being successful they've literally played 3 matches beyond the group stage in europe in 8 seasons since that big win against chelsea...oh wait sorry they lost. they'd beat chelsea though if they were in england though lol yeah.

also the 'if they were in england' and 'budgets' argument isn't a real argument because if they had those budgets and were in england...they wouldn't be a less talented club and be in denmark and the entire point is that they are a much less talented club and in denmark and that is why they are 10 steps below talentwise.

No ... you wrote that normally they lose in Champions League qualifying at best, and then lose in the Europa League group stage. which is wrong, considering that they have progressed from the Europa League group stage 3 times (which could be 4 out of a possible 8 counting this season that is still on-going) and they actually have qualified for the Champions league group stage 4 out of 10 times and also progressed from their CL group in 2011-12 ...

Though to be fair they would most surely also have progressed from their CL group in 2016-17 if Leicester had been playing fair, not fielding their reserves in the very last match against Porto that they then lost by 0-5 ... a draw between Porto and a more fairly playing Leicester would have been enough for FCK to progress instead of Porto, because FCK then would progress on away goals against Porto... so it's fair to argue that FCK got FCK'ed that year by a not very fairly playing Leicester ... still, a round of 16 in the Europa League that year was not bad either ...

But you could also compare FCK to a top-5 league French team like Bordeaux that probably will finish last in the EL group FCK are also in this season ... out of the past 13 years, Bordeaux have managed to get past the EL group stage 2 out of 5 times and progress from a Champions league group stage 1 out of 3 times ...

My argument was never that FCK would beat top teams from the big leagues in CL, but that they are of mid-table top-5 league quality...

yes and you said they have been past the group stage 5 of 12 years.

normally means that more times then not or with normal conditions...so normally 7 out of 12 times they did not get past the group stage. You agreed with me but are still arguing its not true lol.

they lose in the group stage get over it.

I love they should've moved on if so and so been fair lol. they would've moved on had they beat porto they didn't so they didn't deserve to advance. they beat brugge twice and got a draw and three losses against the top two in the group.

again the argument is about amon and that he doesn't play against the competition he needs to while in denmark its not a good league. you defense of the league is that one team could be ok in the weakest big five league. A) its not true and b)that doesn't make it a good league even if it was true. C) one kid from the entire league signing and being a rotation player with a big club doesn't make it a good league.

amon needs to get in a better league.

Dortmund in a matter of 8 days is playing wolfsburg, athletico madrid and bayern...

same 8 day ur boys play brondby, slavia praha, aab aalborg..

tell me how thats a similar schedule how would they deal with dortmund schedule other then get shut out three times.

    Give it a rest.

By a simple eye test, Amon has improved tremendously over the last year and half. As long as he is learning and improving, he doesnt need to go anywhere. If he was beyond the level, someone in his position would be completely dominating.

The Superliga has a decent track record of developing young players and preparing them for top leagues. The top 10 players they sold this summer went for a combined fee over £40m. Ot os also interesting to see that the fee relative to their transfermarkt value is often multiples. The big leagues are obviously scouting the league heavily and willing to pay for the players.

    # Player Market Value at that time Nat. Joined Fee

I do not agree with you one bit ... I wrote that FCK is of mid-table top-5 league quality ... you postulate that they are "10 steps below" because they did not beat Chelsea and did not progress more than 1 out of 4 times from the CL group stage, though they have actually been very close doing it 2 out of 4 times ... and also have done it several times in the Europa League.

As I also have showed you, a fairly good French top-5 league team like Bordeaux have hardly done much better in Europe the past 13 years, which is what we were talking about regarding FCK, but to be honest, then who cares what they did 10-13 years ago... the past 2 seasons FCK progressed from the EL group stage, and they also seem to have a fairly good chance progressing this season as well and finishing above Bordeaux in thier group.. if they do not progress, it will still be 2 out of the last 3 ...

You could also go look at what an average English PL team like Southampton is able to do in Europe ...in 2015-16 when they finished 6th in the English PL (and 8th in the following season) they were fielding their regular starting 11, really trying to do their best, but still got knocked out in the Europa League play-off's by FC Midtjylland, and so did not even reach the EL group stage ... and in the following season 2016-17 where they did not even play qualifiers, they finished behind Sparta Prague and Hapoel from Israel, and so did not manage to get past the Europa League group stage ... so that is 0 out of 2, two years in a row, when they had finished 6th and 8th in the English PL ...

Based on Europa cup results, the more average teams in the top-5 leagues are not half as good as you seem to think they are, while the top clubs in the smaller leagues are obviously vastly better than you think, if you believe they are "10 steps below" mid-table in the top-5 leagues ...

Amon is good but I don't see him going to a good club in a top league next summer, not yet. He may have to go to a relegation fodder type team first, and impress in a better league.

The only player from that list sold by Nord'land is Jensen, who was bought as a squad type and has yet to play a minute in La Liga (he's injured now).

The bulk of the transfers to top leagues to actually play in them (not to be sent to the reserves/kids) comes from the Big Three: Copenhagen, Brøndby & Midtjylland.

Anyone thinking Amon is transferring this summer to actually play in one of the Top 5 is betting on small chances.

I have no idea where his game will be by next summer and I'm not forecasting his progress or potential interest in him. Maybe a big club sees something in him and they take a flyer on him, maybe they dont. if that were to happen he'd likely need time to adapt. if they dont, maybe a Belgium or Dutch side might have interest. Rinse, repeat. All that is important for the near future is that he keeps improving.

denmark isn't even close to a league like england I mean its crazy if it was the best team in the league would do well when facing other top teams. They wouldn't be claiming oh they once ALMOST be chelsea. Imagine if that was ur resume as a doctor I haven't saved any lives but I almost did once lol and some how claiming that makes you a good doctor and on top of that that almost once thing meant the rest of the doctors who weren't as good as you...were good lol.
