No but a bunch of Mexicans used the Velez shirt for a team in Flushing Meadows. They must have bought in, when Mario Mendez played for us.

Edit - There is also an Ecuadorian team using Celtic Jerseys.

So you are saying that I'm the only one that thinks that RB V NYC is going to be a rivalry?

Come on D, you know better than that!

I said we should to, but its been you guys doing the watching at other places of your choosing not us. We have going to the same places since i can remember. Hales when it was open till 2005, Stout the past 3 years, and now Nevada Smiths (although we have done a few at Nevadas on and off over the years as well).

If there is ever a USA game we are not traveling to you know where you can go if you want to watch it together. No?

Compliments for this fantastic stadium !!!! I think that is a great thing for soccer in USA and for NJ Red Bulls, of course. Unfortunately, in this moment, a soccer stadium in Queens is only a dream for us, but I hope that in 3 years also the NYCFC supporters can have a fantastic stadium as Red Bull Arena !!!

How would i know where to go if you never posted once (at least I never saw anything) about where you will be meeting and to come join you. Nevada Smith's is crap to watch American Soccer, so if you meet there, then i probably would never come watch a game with you guys :p

BTW: 99% of new stadiums look nice, kudos on Red Bull finally getting you stadium built..hopefully there won't be anymore setbacks

You heard one of them say it, buddha, anyone who is interested in the ESC has to go make nice with them. I know some of us think it's arrogance, but I put it down to laziness and a total lack of imagination.

By the end of this year, we will have more members even though we have no first division team.

To be fair, most of the founding members of the ESC did go to almost all of the NY Centaurs home matches the year before the MLS. I know, I was one of them.

Start a fight? What are you talking about? Besides, according to you a little banter between us was always okay. All I did was point out that you claim to be a local Brooklyn Knights supporter, but yet you don't list them as one of your teams. I know some don't list any teams at all, but it seems kind of odd, if you put forth the effort to edit your personal profile you would have thought to add the teams you support. Which bags the question, if you're such a loyal Knights supporter, why did you fail to list them but thought of Velez?

If you consider this banter then no problem but it seemed that you were looking to quarrel. Next time throw in a :D, to differentiate. lol

Anyhow, I think that you know the difference between Velez and my BK affliation.

Onion: Hello? Red Bull is that you?
RB Front Office: Whats up baby?
Onion: We need to talk about something.
    RBFO: Sure thing.
Onion: Well, remember last week? When I came over?
    RBFO: Of course I do.
Onion: And you let me stay for the first half. N then you beat me up?
RBFO: Ohh baby that was nothin.
Onion: But what about when you said you would have me arrested, and that you never wanted to see me there again?
RBFO: Thats whats got you upset? That was nothin baby. I was just joking with you.
    Onion: Really?
RBFO: You know I love you. Things are going to be different next year. We are gunna move out to the suburbs together. We will have a nice house. Nothing will come between us then.
Onion: You mean you won't stay mad at me for getting out of line with you?
RBFO: Don't ever stand up and cheer in front of me again, and we will be just fine baby.
    Onion: Thanks so much.
RBFO: So you coming over on Saturday or what?
    Onion: Of course.
RBFO: I want you here by 7:00.
Onion: *sniffles* Thanks RBFO! I'll be wearing my Altidore jersey.

Funny but messed up, the relationship between the esc and the fo is shitty but I don't think that should be something to poke fun at the esc for. Especially since that is a problem throughout this country, true supporters are treated like Hooligans, because every team with the possible exception of toronto wants a stadium full of soccer moms and kids, rather than a stadium of 20/30 somethings that want to jump around a bit. Remember cursing is ok at an NFL game, a "F*ck the yankees" chant is acceptable in oakland, Throwing bottles is ok at a browns game, a few f-bombs at a soccer match means we are losing our moral fiber as a society.

That prior post ranks among the most pointless ever, perhaps Metrogo spoke too soon a few posts back.

I am not sure where this perception comes from but our relationship with the FO is probably one of the best in the league.

How's you guys relationship with the NYCFC FO going?
