Looks like Luiz Adriano will start up top and Diego Alves will be in goal.

Looks like Thiago Silva may not only loose the captain's band, but may also loose starting position.

1st time Brasil playing in Turkey in 56 years, packed stadium, huge media. Rafael Cabral will be starting goalie.
9 players called by Dunga for the 1st time including Firmino and Talisca.

Based on the training, this is going to be the line-up:

Diego Alves; Danilo, Miranda, David Luiz, Filipe; Luiz Gustavo, Fernandinho, Oscar; Willian, Neymar, Luiz Adriano

No position is fantastic but the only really weak position is the striker (Luiz Adriano), although I think it's fair to give him a chance.

Interesting that it'll be David Luiz+Miranda. I think Thiago is better than both of them.

I think Thiago Silva is not starting just so that it can look like he will have to earn his position, rather than being a starter by default.

But sooner or later he will become a starter again, either because he will from bench and do well, or one of the starters will mess up or miss a game, etc..

Brazil will give up its 1st goal under Dunga, but we will still win 3-1!! Neymar, Oscar and Luiz Adriano will score!!

I don't trust that Willian+ Oscar combination in midfield. We generally look quite toothless when they play together.

Willian is better off the benchIMO. I think it only a matter of time before someone with a bit more creativity takes his spot. At the very least, Willian is better than Hulk.

Agreed. I like Willian but I feel like Brazil has more talented players that should be starting ahead of him by the time the Copa America comes around. Same thing for Fernandinho although I'd like for Oscar to eventually take his spot.

Oscar can definitely play deeper but it's unbalance to play Oscar deeper and let's say Coutinho in the #10 role. We need a young CM with good technical ability to partner Oscar and Gustavo in midfield IMO.

I like Willian and think he is a good player. However, he doesn't fit in with this squad. He has a very well rounded game, but this squad needs more true scorers and/or playmakers, and thats something he isn't. I don't like the fact that they are negating an very offensive position with a non scorer, given the lack of scorers on the squad.

Almost the entire squad has offensive technical ability that can take advantage of a given opportunity and put the ball in the net, even the Zagas, but it needs someone other than Neymar as a true scorer. A guy like Fabuloso in 2010 was sorely missed in 2014. Who will be the new Fabuloso or Robinho to emerge, bc as of now, its only Neymar who you can count on every game.

That's why I still believe that Neymar should be played up top. Then you can add someone like Coutinho or Firmino to the midfield.

After the Brasileirao is done with, I hope to see Lucas Silva get some shots as the segundo volante. We sorely need someone with his ball skills and vision. I'd also like to see Gabriel and Thalles to continue to develop and that will help give us options up front and in the midfield.

The CM position is by far the most problematic area. I think in the #10 role both Coutinho and Firmino has the potential to be that player for us. Consider Dunga is the coach and the attacking spot are competitive both players would really have to step up to claim a starting spot. So far in Firmino case I heard he has impressed in training, so he on the right track. If he can play really well in these two game, it might start sooner than later.

    As a neutral, I would like to add something about it;

The stadium they choice is spot on type,.a footy box stadium with passionate fans base and entire stadium ambiance mode.

    The Turquia starting eleven looks interesting. I think their weakest spot is by that line up is;
Their Golie. Babacan is weak golie,.. I predict Volkan Demirel start as a golie. He is their best golie since the last 10 years around….

Gonul is best full back(right wing) in that league ,and one of the quality full back in entire Europe.

Kaya is currently one of the bets two CB in their Nation. They say HE is rising star in that spot.

Now thats interesting and weird. Topal. He is a DM. But, played some games in the CB position,..And I think He failed in the recent games in that new spot. I think coach could start Serdar Aziz in that spot or Bekir. Bekir and Serdar very strong in the physical match up…i.e.;they successes vs Drogba,Demba Ba etc in the league match up.
Topal is weak in the defense line duty, communicate, offside line, air ball etc etc. I think a bit risk to use him in that spot. Only positive adds he can bring is; He is very good with the ball,..He read and pass, moves ,and he is speedy tall modern dm,..that that some coaches use him in the CB as a hybrid libero type. Maybe in a year he could be good hybrid libero in the CB position,..but,for,now,He is not top game calibre level performance in that position.

Tufan is one of the rising young talent in the league and NT. HE is a dm ,.and play as a hybrid,..defens and offense same time. Have interesting long range shots. Tall, strong physical and technical boy.

Erkin is last season MVP of their league. He is full back,..He has got very very good lefty,…there is only one minus about him is; HE could get hot head, and trash talk with ref. The rest is,he is very very good player. A must watch one.

Ozyakup is currently league's one of the best performer. He is a technically gifted talent. He were played at Arsenal youth,..His game style is copycat of the Oscar.

Sahan is Turkish Thomas Mueller they say. He is very interesting player. A hard worker at the upfront with a old style top performer.

Tore is the one of the most skillful young star in their squad. He scouted and signed to the Chelsea youth by legendary scout chef. After that HE signed to the Rubin Kazan, and than He signed by Besiktas. He is currently in hot form. He is a dripling specialist,..A joy to watch type player.

Bulut is currently hot mode. He scored last week for his team Galatasaray winning game.
He is very strong at physically,..at air strong, very good speed with a tall body,.. a good techniceq and very effective shootings ability from long and short distance(vs portugal goal,a must watch type).

Finally, super star of their NAtion. Arda Turan. Many european journalist said he is a Balkan, turkish Maradona. In his first years at Galatasaray and Atletico MAdrid, His game style were a bit of Ronaldo bit of Messi ,bit of Neymar. But,recent seasons He become more all around type n10.
No need to add more about Him. Every footy fans probably knows him already from his performance at La Liga. He is a joy to watch and must to watch type player, same as Neymar.

I dunno weather. I hope a good weather in the game time.
Turkish NT head coach Fatih Terim said in the press conference; Turkish people always had sympathy against to Brazil. Almost every WC, They followed and cheered for the Brazil NT.
So, I assume There will be very good welcome for the Brazil NT.
I heard They welcomed and had good time since their arrive at Istanbul.

    ps:

There is many Brazilian player and I heard ,some Brazil Restaurants and Samba school too . :)

Currently Melo, Telles plays in that league top team Galatasaray. Aswell Taffarel is assistant coach in the Galatasaray too. HE is their(galatasaray) legend.

    Lastly:

I heard Turkish FA invited every Brazilian players that that currently plays in the Top division and other division to the this special night in the special section at the stadium .

As a neutral footy fan, I hope to see good, injury free, positive and fair play games from both footy NT's.

    Obrigado.

    Regards,

Neymar doing a lot of necessary tricks.

And he scores. Nice pass by Fernandinho. 1-0

Oscar has to pass much better.

    2-0. Own goal

I'd like for Jefferson to be replaced by Diego Alves full time by the Copa America.
