LOL, it's pretty stupid to blame Zuniga for ever for that...that happens in football...like Matuidi with the Nigerian. Stop please. Blame Suarez because that is really to blame, not Zuniga or Matuidi.

Goulart deserves a call asap. I really dont want to see D Luiz & Gustavo for a long while. Oscar needs to re-discover himself.

Not sure on Hernane or Arouca, wether they can handle top level but hey anythings worth a shot at the moment.

I'd like some of the youngsters from the Toulon tournament involved, such Rodrigo Caio, Marquinhos, Luan.

Time for a massive revamp. A central midfielder who is not focussed on defence needs to be included. It's time to stop the whole 2 defensive midfielders thing. It only works if you have Ronaldinho, Rivaldo & Ronaldo infront of you on top form.

    To Cashflow,

I gotta disagree with you about D.Luiz!! He played his heart out on that field!! But your other call ups you're right on!!

I would like to see Robinho back in the squad...he has about another 2 tournaments left in him!!

A game that means nothing. That lost will be remembered until next year. I hope no one go see this game.

I'd say it adds to it. Only one that would be "happy" about it was Barbosa.

    Arouca :ROFLMAO:

You're right on your last point.

Normally I game like this in the US I'd easily make the trip. But I don't think I have the stomach to make that trip this time around.

I guess we all have to wait on a coaching appointment to speculate on what the call-up would be like. Will it include standouts from last season? Mostly Brasileirão players? Anyone who makes a good impression in the opening to the next season in Europe? And of course, how many from the World Cup squad will it include.

Whether it's A. Gallo of the U23 team or someone else, in my opinion even though there wasn't too much controversy in Scolari's 23. There were still some names that should've been picked and just like Mano did when he gave Neymar and Ganso their debuts.. I think the new coach will pick Robinho, Miranda, F. Luis, Lucas Moura, Hernane and Firmino!!

And I'm predicting we will have a new captain!!

I'm not understanding the Robinho hype , what has he really shown on the field the past 2 or 3 years? Every time I saw him with Milan he was a non factor. Flamengo and Santos have been trying to sign him for ages too but he wants to be paid a ridiculous amount for a player of his age and baggage.

Robinho is already 30, will be 34 by 2018, it would be a mistake to give him chances now.

Lucas Moura, Coutinho and Roberto Firmino are three that will probably get chances but Lucas Moura will have to do a lot better than he did last times he played for Brazil.

I hope to see Lucas Piazón get a call to the squad as well, although he has more road ahead of him.

Yes, he looked good in the first six months in Holland, then his performances declined, didn't shine at the youth national team either but I think he has a lot of potential, perhaps should be loaned to a Premier League team at this time if possible.

I forgot I created this thread hours before the semifinal.

Dunga now has announced Mauro Silva and Taffarel and others in his coaching staff. That we're getting names who weren't with him before and who are also retired players who have won the World Cup is not a bad thing. These guys are relatively young men who can relate to the players of today and hopefully they'll provide guidance to them.

That's not anywhere nearly sufficient to forget a winning team, but it's a start.
