They are 1-1, with a 3-1 loss at FC Basel and a 4-2 home win over Luzern. Staubli even scored the second goal for Aarau. Team Vaud is a combined team from a few clubs, and acts as the Lausanne Sport reserve team as well. The 1st Division Promotion starts on 3 August, and the 1st League Classic and 2nd League Interregional starts on 10 August.

How recently? With a little more digging, it seems that he was playing with the II team, which plays in the 4th league (8th Division). The Sounders reserves seem to just a tad bit higher of competition. I just looked at the USV Eschen Mauren website, and he is no longer listed with the first team. The first known American to play for a Liechtenstein team seems to be gone.

Staubli goes 70 min for Aarau and scores his second goal of the season. When he left the score was 2-2. Aarau eventually lost 4-2 at Grasshopper Club Zurich. Highlights will be available sometime on monday. I will link to the highlights when they are ready.

Good catch. I thought that he was gone. He played the first 60' of their 1-1 away draw at FC Zurich II. He was on the field for both teams goals.
