So at the end of the college football season, the media and experts were saying that Kyler Murray was MAYBE a first round pick. Some time passed and Murray didn't even play in the Senior Bowl, and all of a sudden he is a top 15 pick. Now that the combine is right around the corner, people are saying he's a top 10 pick and maybe even a top 5 pick, ranking him even ahead of Haskins. What changed? The film has been out there. He didn't participate in any activities that could influence it one way or the other. This is exactly how teams screw up on draft picks.
I haven't been following this QB class strongly, but it's worth noting that maybe teams just gave him a preliminary grade because they thought he was gonna play baseball. Now that he's declared fully for football, teams are giving him a second look and liking what they see. And let's be real; late 1sts at QB generally have a tendency to rise into the top 10 because of how valuable it is. Also, on a different note, I made a highlight reel of Ragnow using my amazingly basic editing skills, maybe check it out if you guys are ever bored and got a couple minutes to kill:
Noon EST? EDIT: If it's noon EST I may have to wake up a little earlier than I usually do on a Saturday lol, but I can do it just fine.
Nah. Watching European football is often too much of a pain in the ass in Canada to watch anything other than the occasional Dortmund match for me these days.
agreed, even here. I just watch PSG this year and try to watch real madrid because of vinicius. Hard to watch the champions lg even having a job. Maybe you'll switch over to the best lg , the Brasileirao lol. i still watch a ton of that , the only negative is pace of play which the calendar and heat dictate
I apologize if I monopolized time in that podcast, BTW. Thanks for keeping me in check with that. I sometimes fall in love with the sound of my own voice.
Who seen D.K. Metcalf's combine work-out?? Dude has to come from some weird genetic football lab in the depths of Mississippi. DK has now bench pressed 225 27 times, ran a 4.33, and has a 40.5 inch vertical.. at 228 lbs... Dude's an absolute freak of nature.
Better hope he tears a ligament or something lol. His measurables are RARE. Dat boy made him some serious $$$ today.
