All of these injuries are turning this into a dumpster fire. Add insult to injury is I bet Jay keeps his job after the season as a result of these injuries.

Yup. Redskins are basically only winning this game if the Eagles continue to turn the ball over.

Jay better pack his bags by the end of the season. This coaching staff needs to go. Roster management and coaching aside, he was given the benefit of the doubt for the injuries last year. But for it to happen for a second time (and I'm not even talking about the fluky leg injuries to Smith and McCoy), someone needs to be held accountable. Jay didn't hold any of the training staff accountable last year. It really comes down to the training program and the type of practices Jay runs. There is a lot more that could have been done on the injury prevention front and not all of it is due to bad luck (Smith and McCoy).

It’s always been an issue with him and people make out his offensive line being worse than it really is. Just get some early pressure on him and he does the rest for you by crumbling.

Only tweet from him on the game, but if Kirk was lighting it up, it would be about how good he played. LOL.

Where have I heard that before? It sounds so familiar. Ah yes -- when DJax and Garcon were getting open but Kirk would constantly miss them and check it down. #CompletionPercentageGoals

That might have been both the dumbest game I ever saw an NFL OC call AND an NFL QB play. and I've been watching since 1963... if Keenum were still the Vikings #1 they win that game going away...

And it really underlined the absurdity of the QBR system-- Wilson had one awful play and otherwise played quite well, and had a sub-40 rating, while Cousins played really badly IMO and had a respectable high 80's...

Agreed. The QBR system is supposed to add some more context to stats. But when Cousins can go 4/6 for 70 yards and a TD in a meaningless drive at the very end of the game to pad his stats, I am not surprised the QBR gets thrown out of whack.

He was in the high 80's before that drive according to Yahoo...

If that’s the case, I’m not sure what to say. I take both passer rating and QBR with a grain of salt. They’ll never be able to develop an algorithm that will accurately assess QB play. Nothing will beat watching film.

Yeah, it should have been over with. But the pro-Kirk Redskins fans and most of the local media bring him up when he plays well and mentions how big of a mistake it was to let him go. I feel like I need to make it a documented point when they go silent after Kirk gives us his usual crap performances.

Looks like DeFillipo lost his job in part to Kirk's play. Guess we shall see how much it will help.

1075591072703832064 is not a valid tweet id

Kirk is always among the leaders. But it’s all good since his final stat line looks nice and people fall for it hook, line and sinker.

@Mengão86 When can you get on to talk about the skins/jay grudens future? Also do you know anyone who has visited fortaleza? I was thinking of going there in June and flying to Rio. What is the cheapest plane ticket you got to Brazil? I'm seeing 350 from miami to fortalza for as low as 320 then even miami to rio 0 stops is like 450... I was anticipating more price. When I used to look from Ny the tickets would always be between 1,200 and 1,600 with a bitch stop in colombia which i had to go through before.

I could do it at 2 today if that isn’t too much of short notice. Other than that, I’m about to move and probably won’t be free to till the second half of January.

Cheapest I ever got was 500 something. Some of my wife’s friends have been there. In the last year or so, there have been more options to get to Brazil.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you as well. The Lions are a dumpster fire and I'm sad I missed your call-in show to go in on them.

Zimmer looks pretty bad for throwing Defilippo under the bus right now.
