Tigres vs Monterrey makes just as much money as america vs chivas despite having far less attendance capacity. America vs Pumas entertains me a hell of alot more than america vs cruz azul it's gotten boring. You know as well as I do that Tigres vs monterrey makes more money and has higher ratings than america vs cruz azul, chivas vs atlas, or america vs pumas it's the second biggest game of the year. I'm going to look for the facts just give me a second.

It's both is what I meant to say. It could be both or it could only one. If monterrey had a 3rd team than who ever is that 3rd team vs tigres or monterrey would be only a derby. Tigres vs Monterrey is both a clasico and a derby just like Chivas vs Atlas and America vs Pumas these along the el clasico regio and america vs chivas are the only clasicos in my mind. America vs Cruz azul could be alot better but it's not.

In monterrey probably but outisde monterrey there is no chance in hell that is even close to being than any of those goals. None of those teams have a national following like America or Chivas has. Hell its the only clasico that I have missed twice because they send it to Sky and didn't show it on open TV in Mexico.

Hello, I spend $320 pesos on my game ticket. Then I drink like 4 beers for a hundred. How much do you spend?

Other people pay Sky instead. And they must because the fanbase has only 1 derby to watch, instead of picking from 3-4 teams.

Your point being? If it was as popular as the other clasicos, they wouldn't send it to sky sometimes but show it on open tv every time. It's a clasico, its a big rivalry but its the most regional and the one with less national appeal.
