The RCN signal has improved over the years. It's still a little behind of local SD channels but I recall a few years back it was grotesque, like a bad computer stream...

As a general rule, Colombian sportscasters are really, really, really bad. You can usually group them in 3 denominations:

- Insufferable know-it-alls: Velez and Mejia are the prime examples. Yes, they know their shit, but do they have to be such dicks about it? CAV tries too many terms and uses too many words, Mejia just gets angry about anything and everything...

- Tropicalisimo: Vinasco Che is their role model, guys who are more concerned about finding funny slogans and nicknames than actually telling you what is happening on the field. Si, Si Colombia....

- Yes-men: Usually they're second or third fiddle; they get their in in the business, working on the sidelines, telling you important stuff, like what color is Gamero's shirt, or if Carachito is sporting a new haircut. When they move up (both literally and figuratively), they are usually more focused on not contradicting CAV or Mejia. Gracias Faryd!!!

Dapip are they worse then Mexicans?

Mexicans seem like they circle jerk during games haha. I still remember the Copa Oro where we eliminated them with a B team. They talked so much shit before the game and during the game because the team lost to Panama and maybe Honduras. Abel scored the flukest and luckiest goal I had ever seen. They just went silent. The rest of the cup they were just like a dog who you caught doing something they shouldn’t

 

Tough call. I'd say that both are really really bad in different ways. I don't watch any FMF games, so I don't know how they are with their teams, but when they do Libertadores and during the WC, they're bad.

The two most obnoxious things about them are:

- They try to make everything about Mexico, regardless of who's playing. I recall many Libertadores games where the teams were not Mexican, but if you closed your eyes, you would swear that it was America vs Chivas.

- Usually they have annoying voices, accents, go to phrases... There's a guy that has a high pitched voice, another that mumbles, another that almost sings corridos.. Yeah, Argentinian/Uruguayans accent can be annoying too, but usually they know their shit. Imagine listening to a guy who talks like a WWF announcer who knows nothing about the game. I think that Univision and Telemundo are semi-aware of that and they usually feature a non-Mexican commentator for international games; they brown-nose the Mexicans a little but usually they have better knowledge of international futbol.

 

This is the most annoying part of their broadcasts. Everything has to be a 'circus'.

Bueno, ahora que no se relajen contra Bucaramanga. Con los 3 puntos entran a las finales y se aseguran el puesto en primera.
Eso si al equipo no le sobra absolutamente nada. Botinelli salio por molestias en su rodilla? Creo que nos alcanza para salvar la categoría y entrar a los 8, pero de hay para adelante no creo que tengamos lo suficiente para ganar el campeonato. Para el proximo ano se necesita reforzar mucho mejor -- en special el mediocampo y la delantera.

 

El torneo Colombiano se presta pa que cualquiera se pegue una inspirada Al final y clave a Todo El mundo.

en eso si tenez razón pero este America tiene mucho mas anti-bajos que Santa Fe/Atl Nacional/Millos/Junior... que los veo firme. De pronto cuando se saquen el peso de no tener que pensar del descenso se estabiliza un poco mas la situación.
