exactly only places Colombians should go that are good are Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Italy, England, France or Germany. Every other league is not as good as our unless they go to a big team like Liga de Quito in Ecuador or Colo Colo in Chile thats about it.

    Re: Alvaro Dominguez News...

I really have mixed emotions about gio moreno, he amazes me but still he's the slowest player I've seen since el pibe. I KNOW that jackson will do good no matter where he goes. But I'm not that sure about Gio Moreno.

Can you imagine him in a fast playing team in the EPL or Germany? Either it would be a complete disaster or he'd come out a world class player (if he got physically stronger and faster).

It would be a gamble since I'm not sure at all that he would do good but I'd love to find out.

Speed isn't that big of a deal in my opinion. If you know how to position and pace yourself, then Speed shoudn't be a problem. Only people who really relies on it and there strength. Like Rodallega

I sometimes wonder if things would have been way different for him and for Colombia had he made that Penalty against Paraguay in the Copa America. It seemed to me that after that play he and the whole team deflated and lost all confidence.
We then pushed up for more attacks and got burned by Santa Cruz and Cabanas.

I still think we could have won that game or at least tied since we play better with a lead.
Everything was down hill from that point on and he has not been given a chance since.

Dominguez >>> G10 or Big Mac. We play'd so much better with him and he could cross the fing ball !!!!!!!!!!!

I was really sad when he was black listed because it was the start of our ultra defensive style under Pinto before that we were playing some really magical stuff(for Colombian standards)

    Re: Alvaro Dominguez News...

I don't know if you guys watch the video, but in the Paraguay friendly before Copa America, Dominguez was so clinical at passing the ball and hustled so much. Giovanni Hernandez was playing too that game and he was invisible. It was Dominguez who was doing the work.

I watched those Colombain Matches on Telemundo. The guy was great in yellow before the Copa America.

Tis a pity he was not given another chance. I think his best years are behind him and we have younger guys who need playing time/ experience.

I don't know what his current level is, but barring any injuries, age shouldn't have affected him. The guy is 29 or 30, so not old... I always liked how he played in the NT, shame he was dropped for in favor of lesser players.

That is the thing. Is his current form better than James? Pino? Carbonero? Pabon? Quintero? Ortega?

I know, I know he is a bit different in skill set and position than some of the players I have mentioned but I don't want him on the squad if he takes away an opportunity for those players I have listed to play & get a chance.

He isn't a clear starting on his team and his team is midtable in Switerland..... not really a guy who should be benching Elkin or J-Rod

He was more of a right footed player from what I remember.

That said, I don't see him benching Dayro or Cuadrado either.

to my opinion this guy simply sucks! he was nothing outstanding in a league that... i think is worst than the colombian league. What do they have like 8 teams? what do they call it the super league??? lol... they might as well have a team called the A TEAM! :D

i take it back... if he gets called to the NT for Abel Aguilar and he goes to the bench, I would take him on the NT.
