    He's on the bench.

BTW, more of a reason to root against DLC: they got Omar Bravo on the bench.

Anyone have odds on whether Jozy comes in today or not?

Depends on the scoreline in my opinion. I think we are all probably Deportivo fans to at least score to make it more likely to bring on an attacker.

Brilliant strike from 20 yards. 1-0 Villarreal in what has been a highly entertaining first half of football.

Villarreal scores on a superb strike from outside the box. This is not good.

Nice trap, turn, and left footed shot by the Villarreal player.

Goal was from Cazorla. Except for the whistles, an entertaining game...

Villareal is looking good. Good build up, Senna just misses.

Shoud be 2-0, Villarreal had the goalie at his mercy, but is unable to pick his corner.

Are the commentators right now on GolTV commentating on golf or soccer? I want Ray Hudson! How can you possibly hate on Ray Hudson? The man is brilliant. These guys on right now are putting me to sleep

how was that NOT a goal?

and yep sostoked..they need Ray or someone who at least pretends this is a soccer match, not watching paint dry...(or Fulham/Derby last season :p) ..Since i speak Spanish, i simply switched the audio a couple of minutes ago ....the guys who do the comments in Spanish seem to be much more into the match....

Agreed. I can watch girls under 8 in Hudson in commentating. So far, good football, but Jozy not starting and no Hudson has me dissapointed. So, the best chance would be for Deportivo to tie it up, correct???

I change my mind, I hate him for important matches, but I'd love to hear what he has to say bout Jozy

These guys seem to be distracted by offering commentary, as if they are busy clipping Sunday coupons.

Man, Villareal might regret missing these chances later in the match...

I think so. We'd rather not have Villarreal trying to defend a lead.

Or get up by enough that the manager thinks it's a safe chance to give Jozy some playing time, I suppose.

That's why I love these guys on the ESPN Deportes feed. I don't have a damn clue what they are saying but the tone of their voice goes up and down so it makes it entertaining to a degree.

Guille Franco has been playing well but Llorente has looked out of it. I can see Altidore coming on for him in the 2nd half. Also, it's probably the best case scenario if Villarreal ends the match before half-time. With a comfortable lead and taking into account that they generally don't try very hard to kill a match, I'll bet they'd feel much more justified in trotting out Altidore.
