I think it's safe to say that Poli Ejido are currently out producing Villarreal.

I am not suprised w/Defenders and Midfield that's are playing.

Don't forget as soon as Cani and Matias came in for Cazorla and Pires,,,score went from
    4 Villarreal - Atletico 2 to 4-4

    I get it.

    Things get worse:
Sigue volviendo loca a la zaga amarilla Jorge Molina. Posible penalti de Cygan sobre el jugador del Poli Ejido.

What's the story with Jorge Molina? A hat-trick scorer against Villarreal surely could be playing in the 2nd division at least.

What has hamstrung the Villa offense so? The defense is apparently a bunch of putzes.

Let me take a random guess and say that Ejido bunkered for the whole game and burned Villarreal on the counter due to Cygan and co being slow as molasses.

    Poli Ejido 5-0Villarreal.

    Game over man, game over...

You don't bunker and win games 5-0.

Without seeing the match, I'd wager that one team clearly wanted to win the game and took it to the other team, which probably cared more about looking good as individuals in order to maintain or increase their playing time.

While I can't speak for the FA Cup, some of the Copa del Rey and the Coppa Italia matches that I've seen certainly lend credence to your argument.

... exactly :) But in the context of this board, it would probably be better if Villarreal weren't eliminated from the Copa del Rey this early so as to give Altidore some playing time that wouldn't interfere with the possibility of going out on loan in January.

I doubt Villarreal would be very angry about being bounced... the less games the better... CL and La Liga is all they need to focus on now

So does anyone actually know how well Jozy played? Was he fantastic, but just couldn't put it in the back of the net? Was he an atrocity? Did he have a lack of service? What the deal?

RECAP: Franco wasn’t fit, so didn’t make the lineup or the bench.

    Line up was:

    4-4-2
    Viera
    Angel, Fuentes, Cygan, Venta
    Cani, Edmilson, Bruno, Mati
    Jozy, Rossi

Bench: Lopez, Godin, Cazorla, Senna, Llorente

Sub @ 62″ Llorente for Rossi
Sub @ 62″ Carzola for Bruno

    5-0 for Poli Ejido

    @ 8″ 1- 0 Molina
    @ 37″ 2-0 Molina
    @ 55″ 3-0 Molina
    @ 86″ 4-0 Torres
    @ 88″ 5-0 Nacor

Hopefully the Game will be in few days
