He is a much better writer than the most of American soccer journalists.
And more mature than most of our coaches.

"O.K., I want to say vamos to the Red Bulls and good luck to them in the M.L.S. playoffs. They have a big game and I’m pulling for them.

    Bye for now.

    As told to Jack Bell"

ESPN says 1600 ET, which is 4pm, unless my math is way off.

Poli Ejido, in the Segunda B (3rd division) Group IV: [IMG].
    They were relegated last year.

Lucas Cazorla is the manager -- I don't think he is related to Santi, though.

Ejido is a traditional Spanish town, but it is surrounded by ugly greenhouses (check it out on Google Earth).

You must be right -- it is 5:09 in Madrid right now (via Google). So, a 4:00 EST start.

Not sure why, but Western Europe changes their clocks about a week before we do. I think this happens in the Spring as well.
I've already screwed up the time a few times talking to friends this week...

It's always nice to see fresh produce depicted in a team's crest.

We extended daylight savings time several years ago in America, and Europe did not.

The crest looks like a 10-year-old's project.

It should just be a greenhouse.

What's the vegetable playing on the far right -- celery? leek? scallion?

I will refrain from making an obvious (yet hilarious) political joke here, and say maybe scallion or rhubarb?
    Good question...

Edit: Now that I think about it, maybe it's the Calçot, a Catalan vegetable related to the scallion. But El Ejido isn't in Catalunya...

It doesn't look like Marca will have a matchtracker.

The Poli crest is clearly lacking a happy bunny munching on a carrot.
